The disgraced comedian who thinks things have been forgiven and the women he abused should move on with their lives has a new problem. Two of the women are going to file a police report and then also sue him.
Count J, sometimes no means no and yes means no and failing to say anything means no. We are to the point that an NDA needs to be signed for one night stands. It's just cheaper than the alternative.
NDA doesnt matter. Weinstein and Cosby cases prove them to be unenforceable and consent can be rescinded at any time. Weeks, months, years after the fact.
Compulsive jerk off involves coworkers, sometimes subordinates. And he didn't always wait for consent. Nobody is saying he should be bound in irons but that is inappropriate behavior that he only did around women.
not only did he not always ask/wait for consent, in several cases he actively blocked the door while doing it. i'd imagine it's the women he did that to who planning to sue. because that isn't a "grey area". it's black and white sexual assault.
@Brayson87 & @Hothotheat- you both get it. It boggles my mind that others don't. I hope those women take that disgusting pig for everything he's worth!
It just shows how far behind the world still is ...let a guy jerk off in front of their daughter without consent maybe that will change their perv good women bad stance ..they must not have women who matter to them in their lives
I could say a lot but won't. People have been ugly in here lately to me and I don't see the point in really sharing any real information. I can take the heat, but I don't feel like dealing with it.
Re: CK I have known the type. They are exhibitionists and masochists. They love it when you know they are pathetic and it drives them. Wish I didn't know.
Louis CK was absolutely disgusting. The "watch me while I masturbate" fetish itself is creepy, like most fetishes are, but as long as it's between consensual adults (for instance with women he dated at the beginning of his career), I don't really care.
But he took advantage of his status as a successful standup comedian, with a hugely influential TV show and lots of traction due to his manager Dave Becky, to make this proposition to much less famous female comedians, and was oblivious to their statuses in the comedy scene totally uneven. If a woman turned down his offer, she could lose a guest spot in an episode of "Louie" or another recommandation to one of his friends, or a club owner, etc. If she spoke out against him, she would never work on a show involving 3 Arts Entertainement, she wouldn't be cast in a pilot, etc. I think that domination was a huge boost to CK. His "apology" letter was maybe one of the least sincere ever. He acknowledges the facts, but he doesn't actually apologize and mentions instead times and times that these comedians "admired" him, they "looked up to" him. It was ultimately all about himself. That's where the guy is completely fucked up.
Sorry everybody, but I think CK is hilarious and I look forward to his new material. He makes me think and he makes me laugh. And no, I don't really see his career ending over all this.
@Count, Err on the side of caution and assume that coworkers and other people that have never expressed any romantic interest probably don't want to see you spontaneously start jerking off. Even Forest Gump could have cracked that math.
@brayson, i dont have to worry about that, cause i dont pull my dick out around chicks unless it is going in a meat pocket. Thats why i dont like massage joints that only offer hand jobs.
@Count, Yeah the wise saying, "don't draw your sword unless you intend to use it." Louis had no game, and was trying to use some Slick Willy logic to get around what could be defined as "sexual relations."
Nah, I think the person who said he was pathetic and wanted to show the broads that. If they started shouting him down, calling him a filthy, pathetic pervert, he would have jizzed in 4-5 tugs.
By the way, this blind item is actually made up. Once again, as I showed for Enty's "exclusive" claim about the Charlie's Angels reboot, it is sourced from a more legitimate source, in that case a piece written by one of the five women who had spoken out against C.K. two years ago, published yesterday on quite obscure Canadian Jewish site. The comedian wanted to retaliate to a local club owner who had booked C.K and had claimed on the same site that the women in the scandal had agreed to his strange hobby.
Julia Wolov has no intention to sue anybody, but this context offers Enty the opportunity to suggest that there's a case being built on. He often says that there are cases or scandals close to becoming public. The funny thing is that they never go public. But that allows him to let the readers imagine that people were pressured and had to back out of their plans for action, interview, etc.
I have never been a fan of Louis C.K., always preferred Chapelle, Bill Burr and others....
I do think Louis CK gets off on making women feel uncomfortable because he knows without his humor he is not attractive nor influential at all.
One can be both a shitty person and talented at the same time (Cosby/ Spcaey) which is what this site/ other gossip sites and even basic news has taught during the whole #MeToo world. But, to be fair. I would say most of us here on this website knew of the "casting couch" before we were "shocked" over #MeToo allegations. Heck, I knew of it before I even frequented gossip sites. It was/is an open secret.
I think fundamentally what people have a problem with is the women who claim rape/ sexual assault years/ decades later when they were laughing and ok with a situation when they were up and comers in order to get ahead ....and then, the women who were like screw this...I am going home the moment they were propositioned because of their self worth and were blacklisted for it. The latter are the victims I REALLY want to hear from.
I cannot imagine sticking around in a room with a Louis CK type were masturbating if I could leave.
Problem is all of this is super grey because there are so many working parts and different situations/ personalities in play in each and every one of the situations.
Lous CK is a shit person IMO, who makes people laugh and made many women subordinates feel uncomfortable.
At the end of the day though, only you can decide whether to support him or not. I refuse to watch Meryl Streep, Oprah and a few other actors/ actresses for my own reasons. I am more a fan of a consumer market vs. cancel culture.

DeleteThere's this hilarious idea that if women freeze when confronted with sexual harassment or assault then it somehow implies consent.
ReplyDelete+1.. logical
DeleteIf they dont say no or stop how are ya supposed to know they dont want it?
Delete@Brayson87 Thank you. A few posters on here still don't get that this was sexual harassment.

If these last comics had actually mentioned this in their gigs it could have been funny.
