Discovered Zapps in Florida (all of their many interesting flavors). They are just now starting to sprout up, here in AZ. They’re not my favorite, but I was excited to see them arrive here! I have a special fondness for their Voodoo chips, as that is one of my kitty’s names. ☺️
I like just regular potato chips, the flavored ones have too many weird chemicals. I buy Great Value potato chips in the yellow bag. Yes, the Walmart brand because name brand food is a scam and a rip off and usually the generic is made with better ingredients. I also loved Late July chipotle tortilla chips, they used to sell the big bag at Sams but no more! They are the only flavored chips I’ll eat, they’re like Doritos but better, actually more like those cheap orange knockoffs which are the best damned snacks on the planet (other than sunflower seeds of course). They have them at Publix but I am not paying their prices for a tiny ass bag.
Hahaha Flashy Vic, I know about Tayto because Conan O’Brien went to some Irish heritage center in NYC where they were selling Tayto, and he kept picking them up and yelling “TAYTO” in an Irish accent 😂
I don't eat chips, too many naughty ingredients and oh-so-unhealthy for a high performance body like mine. I eat celery or ice chips if I'm craving something crispy.
Snyder's of Berlin BBQ I think like them so much because I can't get them where I live. Whenever I go back to visit family in Pennsylvania I pick up a couple of bags.
Do not talk to me about Lays Potato Chips! UTZ are the world's best- so light and crispy. The regular potato chip flavor is just fine with me. I once almost ate an entire family size bag in a day. Couldn't stop eating them and so good with a beer (or two). YUM! I wish I had some right now!
Damn. Just remembered WISE when I was in PA. They were awesome and kind of greasy - perfect with a chipped ham sandwich. I don't know if they are still out there but damn they were good.
The Kirkland signature kettle Himalayan salt chips are the best and there’s something about seeing these at an aid station of an ultra run that brings be joy instead of the sweet release of death
salt and vinegar, any brand. Back in the day you could only get them at this British import shop in town, where they sold tchotchkes and food and things. I remember they sold Irn-Bru too, which tastes like gum.
Kettle chips, Cape Cod brand, regular, salt and vinegar, and jalapeño. I don’t eat them very often because I might as well strap the bag to my chin like a feed bag because that whole bag is gonna be consumed.
Lightly salted regular or ridged. Any name brand. I'm starting to like the kettle chips, no flavors just regular. Really we just buy ever's on sale. Oh, and Bugles until I overdosed.
Kettle brand Organic Country Style Barbeque Potato Chips (Costco). They have a really unique taste. My husband calls them "crack chips" because you can't help eating them.
Crisps.
ReplyDeleteTayto. Cheese and Onion. Yellow packet from Ulster, not the pathetic Republic rip offs.
