Besides, how would she be "tired" of getting her nipples re-pierced, when she had in all two nude scenes in six years?

ReplyDeleteI've had a nipple pierced for about 7 years now and I could easily take it out for a few days and put it back in with no problems. Unless her nude scenes were poorly timed with healing she shouldn't have to re-pierce if it's only out a few hours a day.

ReplyDelete@Angela: you’re so full of shit. Scientific, schmientific. Piercings do not close up that quickly, unless you just had them done, like yesterday. Trust me, when one of my nephews was a baby, he pulled on my hoop earring and ripped the hole (not all the way through, but painful.) It has never closed and the only option is to have plastic surgery and then re-pierce it in a different place. Given that my hair usually covers my ears, I don’t really care, but if I want to wear earrings I either wear studs (with the backs on really tight) or if I want to wear dangly earrings, I have these plastic things that you put on the back to help tighten them.
ReplyDeleteThis is a BS blind. At the very least, she could take them out during shooting, and re-insert after until the next day. You’re telling me that they can cover multiple tattoos, but it’s not possible to cover a tiny piercing? Please.
I have it on very good measure that if they were pierced within the last several months they very well are closed. The holes are no longer Even noticeable.

A lot of people here assume that most of the blinds come from real sources, from actual people who are in touch with the celebrities and know their inner thoughts. If there are huge inconsistencies, they'll say that it's because some commenters guessed the wrong celebrity, and that it will all make sense when we finally get the right name. But here, besides the issue of who it's supposed to be, there's simply some physiological impossibilities that anyone with a vague knowledge of human anatomy would be able to notice.
It's relatively harmless when it is a run-of-the-mill blind item about pierced nipples, but it should be a reminder that more accusatory blind items, like the ones dealing with cases of child molestation, are not necessarily more grounded in reality or fact-checked.
