A few weeks ago this pint sized A list comedian/actor was declaring victory in a lawsuit. Now, it has been refiled in the right place and he is complaining he needs more time. He knows he is going to have to write a painfully big check.
Hart and the sex tape lawsuit, I presume? I think his popularity has tanked quite a bit- sympathy after his car accident seemed limited on Twitter. I feel bad for anyone suffering injuries but it seems like Hart is digging his own grave.
I think it was mostly because he isn't all that funny. The oscar thing didn't help - with the original comment, his initial refusal to apologize - quickly followed by capitulation. A big mistake because the cancel culture people who were "offended" are never going to be satisfied with an apology - and by first refusing then giving in...he lost the others who think cancel culture is stupid. at the same time - that dumb game show was ASS.
just not funny. and finally - his accident story doesn't hold water. Anyone can see that.
1. I'm glad he defended Starbucks. He's from Philly and I lived on the same street of that Starbucks. He knows the deal. It was NOT racial. Do you know how often the starbucks are filled with loiterers? Usually homeless/druggies. The bathrooms ALL have password codes for only customers. I am white - I asked for the bathroom code before ordering and they said I have to order first before getting that. That case was blown up so much and everyone fell for it. It's a damn shame
@Brayson87 thats because hes from philly and knows it wasn't a racial incident. I lived on the street as that same starbucks, I was told I could not use the bathroom until I order - I'm white btw. Every starbucks in the city is filled with loiterers, they have codes on the bathroom so not anyone can just come in and use it and make a mess. The loiterers are usually druggies or homeless btw. Any person of any race would have been told to leave if they were taking up room and not buying anything. The starbucks staff in the city are the most diverse you'll see at a store! It's a shame people bought into that headline.

ReplyDeletei think it started going downhill for him when he said something about gays. in an ancient tweet no less.

ReplyDeleteI also think him defending Starbucks after that racial incident didn't go over well with lots of people.

Wasn't this midget court jester mentioned in The Grinch?
ReplyDeleteSomething about Hart being two sizes too small.
Yeah, but it was his ❤️ that was 2 sizes too small. And that definitely fits!

ReplyDeleteI saw him do standup a few years in Philly. I was so underwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteThat car accident story is shady as fuck.
It will be interesting to see how all of his drama plays out.
I was a huge fan of his show real husbands of Hollywood. It was really funny at one point. Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke were scene stealers.
Listen, it has something to do with the way his bank account was set up.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me why this car accident actually made news? As far as I know car accidents happen on a daily basis

ReplyDelete@Krissie, I believe where people were positioned at the time of the accident looks like they may have been distracted ;)
