ReplyDeleteI agree with feeling bad for Stodden. She was obviously sexualized very early in life. She really should be the canary in the coal mine of the sexualization of young girls. This is what happens. This is really almost all that can happen. Children cannot process sexualization and it fucks them up as adults.

ReplyDeleteCourtney has said many times that she wasn't sexually abused. Not everyone who is hyper-sexual or screwed up was sexually absued.

ReplyDeleteCourtney Stodden. Poor girl. She's got a real vulnerability and sweetness to her very much like Marilyn Monroe did. She's being exploited like MM was, too. This is all she knows and it's going to take a huge effort and something just short of a miracle to help her turn things around. I suspect that deep down she knows this isn't the way to live but doesn't know how to get out of it.
