@Vita, Living on Mars would be worse than living in a nuclear wasteland on Earth. Mars would be all underground or domes, terraforming can't work there for a variety of reasons.

@gauloise, Haha that explains an incident I had with a French female swinger at a bar. It's always fun when the woman sitting on your lap introduces you to her husband. I was eyeing up the door but he was totally cool and said he didn't care and to have fun. Definitely not my scene though.

Brayson-- I get it, and am personally baffled at people thinking it's a better option than trying to fix things here. I was just talking hypothetically, going along with your comment above it regarding human nature.

ReplyDeleteMars would be the better option if you think escape is the only option. And it might be. Look at North America, oceans kept it safe and let people set up their own thing without interference for a long time. It's like, why did anyone come to America instead of fixing things at home? Because sometimes you can't fix things and it's better to leave. Or to fix things you'd have to break a lot of stuff first and cause suffering. Or those in power are so entrenched that they'd rather see the place burn than fix it.
There aren't many unclaimed wildernesses left. On Earth it's either going to be some frozen hellhole, or under the oceans or underground. And still within reach of most world powers. If you're going to live in a tin can either way then why not a new planet?🤔

Kudos to the French Police, Interpol, FBI anyone else seeking JUSTICE for the victims.
Hopefully, there are some whistleblowers in the Met, that can come to the US or French press about what UK law enforcement knows, what has been reported to them about creep Andrew and anyone else corrupt royal family.

Unfortunately, my grandfather is not from a country where getting a dual-passport based on that relationship is a possibility. One of my sisters is actually trying to find a way to live 50% here and 50% there, which could happen as she works in IT. But recently, we had cousins from my ‘homeland’ visiting, and we realized that, if we really wanted to move, we could each marry a very, very, very distant cousin because our family line is so extensive! Ha, Ha! Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures!
