"I was in an audition and he put his hand up my skirt..What was so shocking about it was the casting director was there and the director, and of course no one said anything at all because he was - he is - such a huge star."
Maybe someone involved in 28 days later. Works for her age and Danny Boyle directed. Pirates is a bit too late to work and she wasn’t in anything huge movie wise before that
Nobody involved in 28 Days Later was a "huge" star. Cillian Murphy, Christopher Eccelston and Brendan Gleeson are all well known but none are "Pretend we don't notice sexual assault" famous now, let alone then. Ain't nobody checking for Mad Eye Moody or Doctor Who like that.
Depends on what she defines as "mid-20s". The audition was probably 2 years before movie premiered so could be something like "After the Sunset" which starred Pierce Brosnan, Woody Harrelson and Don Cheadle
It's great that she's all #MeToo but won't name the actor, the director or even the casting director so that other actresses know to avoid them. B!tch I don't think you understand what #MeToo is about.
#metoo for her is i get all the sympathy from the public without you any possible collateral career damage from naming the offenders... so brave of her
people should start recording things and leaking them online.
pretty quick and effective way to ruin somebodys career if you have their sexual harassment/assault on tape. who gives a shit about recording laws. new york is one side consent, california is both sided consent. but honestly, good luck tracking down the people that upload it
ladies, record everything. you may get sued, but you'll end the person who perpetrated it. videos and audio that are damning are the most effective way to take somebody down. theres no arguing with cold hard proof
@notthis, And/or keep records of anything you hear or possibly observe, including things happening to others, that can be considered evidence too. Lawyers and journalists love it when you have dates, times, names, quotes, etc. These little pigs have have had free rein so long that they're incredibly sloppy. Make them into breakfast.

ReplyDeleteWeren’t they in a Bond movie together?
DeleteFranco

ReplyDeletecan't be craig. she was in her 30s when they filmed together. She said the assault happened her mid 20s.

ReplyDeleteShe doesn't have many credits from her mid 20's. Maybe it was for a role she didn't get. Not much to go on, if so.
ReplyDeleteShe only says audition. After that pig and his enablers made it obvious what would be expected, it would be reasonable for her to refuse the part.

ReplyDeleteName names or it didn't happen.
ReplyDeleteDepp went in deep.
ReplyDeleteShit on the victim some more, you cowards. Because THAT will get to the truth?
ReplyDeleteYou don't get to define what #me too means, asshats.

It was 20 years ago according to the whole article, no one 'huge' was in 28 days later ... but, that would fit with time line for audition to release?
