Blind Item #5
The three of them all wanted to be paid the same and the amount is staggering. So, how do you make that happen? By charging almost triple the highest ever average ticket price for a tour. And the thing is, the show featuring the three who said they would never play together again, isn't all that great.
The Jonas Brothers?
ReplyDeleteGuns N’ Roses??
ReplyDeletedestiny's child? Reunion tour next year

ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Beyonce and her pals.
ReplyDeleteLOL Beyonce is probably charging a ridiculous fee, Michelle and Kelly are tired of being outdone and overshined.
ReplyDeleteThe Three Stooges
ReplyDeleteCurly, Larry and Iggy.
@Unknown: YES! LOL
DeleteGnR? Though I thought it was a good concert.
ReplyDeleteRod, Jane and Freddy.
ReplyDeleteGeorge, Bungle and Zippy.
DeleteWynken, Blynken and Nod?
ReplyDeleteNO way would the three from Destiny's Child al get the same payday. Maybe Jonas could argue this.
ReplyDeleteHuey, Dewey, and Louey.
ReplyDeleteMeh people are still gonna pay for this shit. They won't sell out though by any means. Today's concertgoers are not the generation that grew up on Destiny's Child
ReplyDeleteDixie Chicks
ReplyDeleteDixie Chicks is a good guess. The other two did not deserve to take a back seat to Natalie. They were the real talented musicians. Maines was an obnoxious girl who could sing.
ReplyDeleteDestiny's Child makes no sense because in no Universe would the other two make the same amount of money as Beyoncé to reunite. It could be that Beyoncé wants to do it for image reasons and to finally wash Destiny's Child out of her wig once and for all without looking bad for doing it. If that's the case she could be doing it for less than her usual fee and letting the other two split the difference. This is their retirement fund and honestly, they are lucky to be getting the chance.
DC never said they wldnt play again secondly play refers to a band imo
ReplyDeleteThe Dixie Chicks aren't touring.
ReplyDeleteI'll throw in The Police, since they did this once before, didn't they?
