Blind Item #4

This alliterate actress made a massive donation to a super PAC which she thinks will lead to a pardon.

  1. Lori Loughlin-- wouldn't THAT be ironic...if one type of payout gets her excused from another payout?

  2. LOL! If she would have just paid the tuition for her retarded bimbo daughters, she wouldnt be in this mess.

  3. @count -- i think the she wanted to guarantee entry, she would gladly pay tuition if she new her daughters could get in on their own merits.

    1. Jt - she wanted to be able to say how special her kids were thst they got scholarships. Phony athletic scholarships, violating title 9, is what made this a federal case.

Dumb fuck Aunt Becky. You make the donation BEFORE you do the crime, not after. Didn’t she learn anything from the Clinton Foundation.

A highly visible pardon for some actress... while he is already being investigated? Never.

  9. These types of pardons usually come at the end of final terms, so she would be rolling the dice regardless of who she paid off.

At this point it seems like the prosecution must have initially offered her no deal or a really sh!tty one.

  10. Seriously? The tuition wasn't the issue - at all.

  11. That's true, the issue is that she wasn't willing to pay for a brand new building for the school, that's a totally accepted and legal way to bribe your child into college. So what Count could have said was:

"If she would have just paid the large donation/bribe to the school for her retarded bimbo daughters, she wouldn't be in this mess."

  12. People think that by Accepting a Pardon, they are cleared of any wrong doing.

Unfortunately, according to a US Supreme Court Ruling in 1914, by Accepting a Pardon, you are admitting guilt!

Thus, it's the same as pleading guilty with a reduced jail time.

The crime you (allegedly) committed is still held against you the rest of your life.

Am I right or wrong, Enty?

  13. I really hope the parents put away some money for their daughters. I'm still waiting for Enty to have blinds on _______ yachters. Oh wait, yeah don't bite the hand that feeds you, I get it.

  14. "A pardon is a government decision to allow a person to be absolved of guilt for an alleged crime or other legal offense, as if the act never occurred. The pardon may be granted before or after conviction for the crime, depending on the laws of the jurisdiction."

So no - you're wrong, David.

  15. I hope they put money away for the one daughter that isn't a bird-flipping bitch. The other one can pound sand. She deserves to be in prison just like her parents.

LL is being so foolish about all of this - if she'd just suck it up and go to prison, she could do a year-long talkshow tour and really clean up financially. She'd be the new Redemption Poster Girl and then she could launch a new career as... something. But the key is to be contrite. Without that, no one will touch her or her family. Yeah, being in Da Joint will suck, but it's a means to an end. If she continues to fight this, she'll truly lose everything now and in the future.

  16. California could still prosecute her if she received a Federal pardon and the pressure to do so would be huge. If people were in different States while arranging the bribe/cheating other States could get involved.

But, who did she send the donation to? She could be expecting a Democrat to win and sent them the donation or both

    1. Interesting how Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin did the same thing that politician's do every day, and the politician's don't get prosecuted...

    2. Politicians commit fraud, violating title 9? Title 9 gets countless women athletic scholarships for sports that dont draw flies, to balance out the ones men get for football and basketball. What politician is keeping your daughter, who busts her ass everday at field hockey, softball, track, gymnastics, from getting an education. This isnt a bullshit white collar crime, it is a crime against every American trying to pay for a daughter to get a college education and it flies in the face of equal rights for women.

  17. If she really did pay the money to the PAC she is getting played BIG time.

  18. You're right, Brayson - that's another example of how LL is short-sighted. Sure, a new building would have cost upwards of $10mill, but it would easily see her retarded bimbo daughters through 4 years (with honors!) without requiring them to see the inside of a classroom. But no - by going the cheap, illegal route, she'll waste far more than that amount hiring crisis PR professionals and criminal attorneys, and will still lose everything she'd ever earned, AND do a solid stretch in prison. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

  19. I wonder how many applications USC will get this year, given that nobody noticed those two bimbos didn't belong there.

She will be out of jail in 8 months, and creating a new talk show about fixing one's life . This is how the Illuminati works. Raise up/ humiliate/ punish/ get promotion.

    1. Political Action Committee.

Personal donations to candidates are capped, so people create committees that are supposed to be independent of campaigns, which allows the rich to throw as much money as they want at a political race, so they can buy a politician.

    2. Our MPs in the UK are probably taking bribes or cash for votes.
But it's not got to the craziness over there yet...but it can't be far off.
      Thanks for the explanation Count.

  23. I, too, am curious if this scandal has affected the number of applications for the next incoming class. I am even more curious if the scandal affected Annual Fund and Alumni donations last year. Those typically end May/June, I believe.

  24. And the bribing continues!!

  25. Jesus chriminy this woman is just a complete idiot isn't she, throwing money at everything she can think of. Hey Lori, I have a google degree in law and used to watch full house, can you pass me some money too

  26. the women's rowing team is usually gets a scholarship because of small pool of female athletics. SO the scenerio is that either they paid bribes and got a free ride to college they did not need. or the team's couch pocketed the money that should of gone to a student that was 1) able to actually row. 2) could genuinely use scholarship $$

  27. Scholarships weren't the issue. It was that entrance to the University was weighted on multiple factors and being involved in sports increased the likelihood of being accepted. Like in the old days, when volunteer work helped your admission.

Lori went cheap. Instead of a couple million donation to the University, she spent only $500k. *Then* applied their bribe as a donation on their tax return. Not so smart.
