Okay is there ANYONE on here who buys Ellen's PR image at this point? She has those empty eyes/smile AND she is known as a horrible boss, period. Had a close friend who worked for the show and she is a nightmare. I can't believe Portia isn't a step ford wife OR that folks buy it. Say what you want about Oprah being the devil's spawn supporting Epstein etc but she SOLD her full blown self help thing WAY better than Ellen. Ellen dances around in sneakers, has a few kid tricks, stiffs her staff with more animals she can't keep, and we think she is philanthropic and lovely? Girl has looked like there is nothing behind her eyes for years. Maybe she doesn't have a heart or soul anymore because she sold it to the devil but there is something OFF about her.
ReplyDeleteWow, there were a ton of blinds about Ellen in the past, like a lot. Seemed mostly split between how horrible she is at work and how horrible she is at home. I liked the one about how the show's green was more like a liquor store and guests get hammered before going on stage.

ReplyDeleteI have an acquaintance who works in entertainment in LA. He has friends who have worked for her and I guess she is a nightmare behind the scenes, to her staff. I personally don't care who she sits with -- Obama or Bush or Big Bird. But I don't like hearing she's mean to staff. I suspect the reason so many people are upset at her has less to do with Bush and more to do with having an opportunity to punch her. When Michelle Obama was nice to Bush at the funeral and took some candy from him, no one got mad. So, eh?
