Blind Item #1

This foreign born A-/B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Oscar winner/nominee turned down multiple movies because of a television show she thought she would be doing. Apparently what was proposed to the network didn't involve enough sex and nudity, so they went with something else.

  3. Well, the Targaryen prequel will certainly have a lot of sex and nudity.

  5. Oh sh!t, they passed on the prequel, well Naomi Watts's acting can be a bummer.

Targaryen prequel, makes sense, HBO loves shows with porn, incest, rape, torture and/or dragons. But it's all art, it's HBO 😅

    1. Really looking forward to some good Sunday night incest scenes. Hopefully they cast hot broads.

  6. Hating Watchmen so far, awful take on the source material and the movie, but hey at least it makes good Emmy bait.

HBO better crank out some fantasy crap soon, otherwise shows like Witcher, Wheel of Time and whatever Tolkien juggernaut Prime is going to unleash will eat their lunch. His Dark Materials doesn't count, the book series is mostly anti-god/religion.

  8. Agreed Naomi and GOT prequel...I think the Targaryen line would be more exciting for all sorts of reasons, anyway. Im sure she's mad, but never seems to go without work for long.

  9. Only likeable thing about the Watchmen tv show is Trent's music.

  10. +1 longtime, then again his music is often the best thing about shows/movies 😎

What was HBO working on, all those years that GoT was running? Weren't they planning ahead for their next big show? Something else that people around the world would like? Or just the same old sh!t that only plays well on two coasts?

  12. Yeah turned off the Watchmen before the first episode finished. Interesting concept but nothing to do with the actual Watchmen! It's heavily political (just entertain me!) and falls into the trap of making a normal woman able to kick the asses of men far bigger than her while also using jump cuts.

I feel bad for Naomi Watts. It sucks because HBO basically made Her come out of this situation as both the looser and screwed.
