Today's Blind Items - Good Gone Bad

I have always had a favorite in this family of reality stars. I guess I will need to find a new one now. Well, honestly, probably not. Not really a family you want to get too involved with. Over the years I have highlighted some of their more memorable scams and sins, but they are taking it to a new level in their latest scam. Of course nothing I mention here will ever outweigh the covering up of all the horrible things done to some of the kids, but this is just about the scams, and my favorite is involved.

Somehow the favorite managed to include the person who was supposedly exiled/banned/shunned moving away but never really did and is with the favorite 24/7 as if they were together or something. Anyway, although they are involved and complicit and helping in the scam by soliciting money. Oh yes, money. They don't want anything useful or any supplies, they only want cash or cards they can convert to cash. If you do give them supplies or anything useful, they sell it on the black market rather than distributing it.

The ringleader is one of the members of the reality family, but he brought along members from a similar family. They are all pretending to be law enforcement and carrying badges in a country that has been devastated. They are commandeering relief packages from overseas saying they had been given contracts to control every bit of cargo. (Narrators's voice) They haven't.

They are stealing fuel and then billing NGO's for the fuel. It is a scam on a massive level and pales in comparison to the one two other members of the family pulled while out of the country.

  5. Seems quite complex, so we're looking for a reality family that aren't all thick as pig shit. Should narrow it down???

  6. The Duggars are capitalizing on the Bahamas hurricane Dorian relief?

  7. I think Jinger used to be Enty's fave Duggar?

  8. Jana is the one Enty likes, per this past BI reveal:

Cameras should try and be there when the only Duggar I like finally bails on her family and elopes with the guy she has been seeing online for months. The family would like her continued indentured servitude.

    Jana Duggar

  9. whoever it is is scummy but a lot of people running the relief goods over to Bahamas from Florida are asking mainly for money and food and not supplies like clothing, because they need that a lot more.

  10. So the Duggars are carpetbaggers, big surprise, does anyone think they're good people? They probably need that cash to build their ark or something.

  11. This sounds too much like hard work, so I feel the Kardashians do not fit this. They are more into people giving them money based on being fabulous. While they are not fabu, many do think so. Due to the links provided it sounds like those disgusting Duggars.

  12. OH lawd, definitely the Duggars.

  13. well the Duggars are used to running scams with their church...

  14. I wonder how many kids for market the slavers were able to grab in the Bahamas.

  15. @MyDogSmiles: Just read the article on the Patheos link you shared. That is unbelievably disgusting!!! The Duggar’s have always made my skin crawl, but this is just blood-chillingly awful. Hope they get busted big time!!!!

  16. The Duggar’s with Josh being the exiled one, we ALL know that Jana is Enty’s fav (also, his fav Kardashian is Kourtney) and the other family thankfully I cannot remember but one of the boy Duggers married one of the girls when she was a fresh 18 because God forbid any of these women get an education or start to think for themselves

  18. As an aside...and in no way a defense of any pretend charity...

a lot of times, after disasters, churches and charity groups ask for cash rather than goods because "stuff" has to be packaged individually and transported from wherever it is donated...rather than purchased by the truckload and shipped as cargo.

Whatever you spend on size 4 diapers at Target...they can get 3 times as many from the manufacturer - in the needed size and so on....

just a point - it irritates me too but still, a point.

  19. they also ask for cash because it's easier to hide

    ReplyDelete
  20. What's even easier than cash is to donate nothing at all. They say the best charities are people you know that need help anyway.

  24. Ya, Tricia. Kendal Jenner (who's not male btw) goes around with A BADGE pretending to be law enforcement. NO ONE would notice THAT. fucken idiot.

  25. I am gonna have to support whoever this is, on the basis they are ripping off a NGO. Everyone should be doing their upmost to rip off and destroy as many NGOs as humanly possible.

  26. @Brayson: Agree. I was just thinking about that yesterday. Idk why (nothing to do with the Bahamas.) But if I had a sudden infusion of unexpected cash, I’d never give it to a charity. I’d give it to people in my hometown who need help. My aunt died recently & we know someone who runs an organization that helps people in need so we gave all of her furniture to clients of that organization. Probably 8 different families. They were so grateful and I know that my aunt would be so happy with that outcome.

  27. @Aquagirl beautiful story!!

  28. Sorry about your Aunt, Aquagirl, but that was a lovely way to help the community in her memory.

  29. Yes much better than running an estate sale and donating the proceeds. Seems like something great to put in one's will too.

  30. God this bothers me. My sister worked for years at MAP International. I know they do great work and where their supplies and money goes. Ffs. (She is a pharmacist with a Masters in Public Health, she used to work in Deschapple Haiti at the Hospital Albert Schweizer, owned by the Mellon's, in fact Ms. Mellon and my sister became very close, she even sponsored by sis at John Hopkins where she got her Masters)
Anyway, I am a Christian, and the Duggars are disgusting. Sigh. I hope everyone that donates seriously vets the org they donate to.

  31. Scamming in a disaster zone ... How low can you get?

I volunteered in New Orleans after Katrina and I can say that anyone running scams like this is filth.

  32. The Bahamas are decimated. The stench of death is everywhere, and no one is helping, the only relief that they are getting is from the US. If it gets there. =[
