I am so happy for Fleabag's and Phoebe Waller Bridge's success.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteComer is phenomenal in Killing Eve. Her ability to become different characters and even master various languages/dialects is a sight to see. Well deserved.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteSNL wins an award?
ReplyDeleteHave we traveled 40 years backward in time?
How does Dinklage get an award when his character was virtually nonexistent and poorly written?
ReplyDeleteUrgh, SNL hasn't been funny since the 90s. I can't believe De Niro was even nominated- his Mueller was truly embarrassing for both him and the audience.
ReplyDeleteI'm a little sad for Amy Adams, who has been snubbed a lot by awards. Nice to see Chernobyl do so well however.
Lowest ratings EVER for the ward ceremony! Soon they will not be broadcast at all.
ReplyDeleteENTY, tell your friend Amanda Peet that her shitbag husband of a writer should go FUCK himself. Sincerely, everyone forced to watch that last season and they were rewarded for it last night??
Explains the low ratings.
Also, as someone who LOVED/S Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.....I have tried with Ozark and I just cannot with Jason Bateman. He is just not good as an actor. Glad he won for direction I guess but I feel like he plays the same character is every show. IDK if it is voice or what. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd, again.... this last season of GoT wins the same award as BB. GTFO LOL
The GoT cunts didn’t get best writing or best directing. THE NORF REMEMBERS
ReplyDeleteSchitts Creek should’ve won an award. That show is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteOMGGGG JODIE COMER
ReplyDeleteshe's perfect
So bummed Schitts Creek didn't win
I had no plans to watch it, but a friend of mine asked me to meet her for a quick bite to eat. We walked in
ReplyDeleteand the the TV was on and the K klan was strutting across the stage. Who allowed that fuckfest? I asked them to switch the channel and they did. That was an assault to the senses, between Kim’s voice (believe it or not, I’ve never heard her speak before) and Kendall’s dress. Ugh!!! I can’t wait til February. And supposedly Farrah was there too? Ratings will be even lower next year.
How did Mahershala AND Michael K. Not win?
ReplyDeleteChernobyl is one of the best things I've seen. Ever. TV or Movies.
ReplyDeleteomg.
ReplyDeletethe emmys/oscars/razzies/people's choice/kid's chioce/whatever
*braaaaaaaap*
(not sorry.)
All of the non network shows nominated have really ruined the allure of the Emmys. I am one who was happy when shows like Sopranos was breaking through, but every streaming jabroni is too much. The ratings are rumored to be way down, so I am not the only one who feels this way.
ReplyDeleteThe Oscars better be paying attention. The more nominees that got 1 showing in LA and one in NYC, the less people will care and watch.
TeeHee, after the first season of Ozarks, I only kept watching hoping the white trash girl would get naked. She would be fun in a Red Roof Inn w/ gram of crystal.
ReplyDeleteNever watched a single one of them. I just watch reruns on cable. My husband and I are convinced that if Seinfled came back on during network prime time it would be the top show. Lazy writers and gross people.
ReplyDeleteWould have been great to see a win for Alan Arkin, he’s wonderful in The Kominsky Method. So is Michael Douglas, but Arkin is such a treat.
ReplyDeleteGame of Thrones (Season 8) wins Outstanding drama series? Did any of these critics actually watch that abomination of a story-thrashing?
ReplyDelete
