  1. That is very responsible of him. Good on you, boy bander,

  2. I didn't know that there's medication to prevent HIV. I obviously know that there's medication (and lots of it, a friend of mine is HIV+ and I've seen all the meds he has to take) to slow/stop? it down.

Condoms don’t work with bedazzled bungholes. Unless you’re using copious amounts of KY. Because.... unlike the vagina, the bungholes doesn’t naturally lubricate itself. Because form follows function. There’s no functional purpose to stemming the Rose.

  8. @BlissBoo, Here you go, what the doctor ordered for folks who love getting their backdoor barebacked by randoms.

  11. Now that Harry kind of alluded that he was bi....this site can't really write those blinds anymore...I guess this is their new way of making sure they get to keep Harry in the blinds....sigh!

  13. Thanks for the info everyone, I appreciate it. I'll look it up. I think that's great news! I lived through the 80's and the havoc it caused. I wish we had it then. :(

LGBTQ Community health professionals are really encouraging the young guys who are HIV negative to take a daily dose of PrEP. I fear in about 10-20 years we are going to see thousands of gay men with all kinds of side effects. Excuse me for not trusting the Big Pharma companies with the health of gay men. It would not surprise me if the stuff was not a placebo.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Is this the guy who had his crusty asshole exchanged for a new one?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Being safe also means using condoms. There’s a crazy amount of men who still don’t use them. Knowing how dangerous HIV is. ...

    ReplyDelete
  21. In London subways they have signs which say that those who are taking HIV medication can't spread the disease. This strikes me as very irresponsible.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @J it's probably just to make British women feel better about the roaming rape gangs the police ignore, maybe they won't catch HIV.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Before now I hadn't checked, but perhaps the posters have validity

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/03/health/hiv-transmission-gay-men-zero-risk-study-intl-scli/index.html

...as for the police ignoring rape gangs, there are some fucking crazy stories coming out of the UK these days.

  24. Is this to go with his new shiny barking spider? Look out boys, Harry's back!

  25. PrEP shaming is low, even for enty.

Good for the bander for being responsible.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Absolutely. You do have to wonder about the side effects in 20 years. If you listen to commercials half the side effects are worse than what they are preventing and they have not stood the test of time.

Be safe y'all and still use condoms. If you reck your asshole as bad as Harry, who literally has had to have surgery to repair it, you probably should not put your dick down that hole LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I keep hearing about Styles and his a$$ surgery, but haven't seen anything backing it up, anyone have any links? Seems kind of young, then again maybe he's a size queen.

  29. It is called "prep" and people put "on prep" in their Grindr profiles.

I tried to caution that it may not be a foolproof method and that HIV is still serious, and that not everyone who gets the virus responds in the same way to the virus or to the medications (which can be very expensive and inconvenient, for those who are used to a no frills youthful lifestyle.)

I don't remember (and don't want to) who it was but a name I hadn't noticed before tore into me including claiming I was hurting people with AIDS (when I'd just said I knew people who'd died from it.) That just about made my brain explode, reading that crap.

I don't want a rerun of it if that cretin still lurks here or has alts. So, suffice it to say - you are trusting a stranger, and Big Pharm, with your LIFE, if you bareback -- and even if there are home tests now, the virus is a retro virus which hides from detection at times.

    There is. no. existing. cure.

    Play with caution.

  30. Why hasn't he been nicknamed Doggy Styles yet? He walks the walk and can top and yelp with the best of breeds.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Universal "you" btw. On rereading my comment above, it sounds like it's addressed to the person quoted. It's addressed to any/everyone, i. e. 'to whom it may concern.'

    ReplyDelete
  32. Can he top, Vic?

Do tops need bottom reconstruction surgery tho?

    ReplyDelete
  33. It sounds highly irresponsible to me also, and highly suspect. Wonder how much Big Pharm paid for that? Allegedly.

  34. Brayson I notice the URL even says "reduce" risk, not obliterate risk/prevent. Interesting.

People who are young and full of surging hormones don't need much urging to be reckless, and as others have said too, it doesn't protect against other types of STD/disease. (Advertisers know this full well and capitalize on it, literally.)

So I wonder if they're paying total attention to the risk, even though it's only left 'implied.'

  35. THANK YOU MissDavie, those who remember cannot forget.

I won't even go into the rumors about how the virus originated to begin with.

"Excuse me for not trusting the Big Pharma companies with the health of gay men."

This type of stuff makes me angry. A lot of very good people should still be here.

  36. @Astra, Dammit, are you trying to ruin Taco Tuesday?😅

  37. Factoid. A small percentage of people primarily descended from Scandinavians are immune to HIV due to a genetic mutation. The main locus of the mutation was Sweden. So scientists have been studying those immnune for years now.

  38. Christ not this bullshit from Samantha again. You ill educated loon. It's probably me you're referring to. Because you're spouting garbage mixed with hysteria mixed with conspiracy theory mixed with outright ignorance. Just because you don't understand the science of it, doesn't make its effectiveness I preventing HIV any less real.

Good on Harry, if it is him. Sensible all round.

  39. @JL, I wonder how they figured that one out, probably led to the Chinese making hiv resistant super babies.

Don't start with me again. I am not going to give you my time or go through a rerun of your abusive rants.

  41. "Gerbil Sac" - Big Pharma shill, btw, I presume. Enough said. Not that you'll stop, and I hope Enty turns moderation on so your future abuse toward me does not appear. I hope since you were ad hominem abusive above, that comment will be deleted.

Just like before, you are also (in addition to ad hom attacks) twisting what I am saying, and just saying "muh science!"; and why would anyone trust your opinion, since you are an abusive, anonymous internet troll?

I'm not going to have a medical debate in this forum with you or with anyone it's not the time or place. Barebacking is risky. That's what I am saying and that's sound advice.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ah yes the "big pharma" conspiracy. That's usually an excellent launching pad for a "medical debate" you aren't actually capable of having. Because it's all a roaring conspiracy right?

And his is my handle. Yeah I lurk because most of the blinds aren't actually blinds but lifted from DM or tedious ones about Housewives and Kpop, I.e. not worth commenting.

But your emotional hysterics over something you clearly don't understand are always a good prompt for an intervention. I notice you've tempered yourself since your last rants, now barebacking is just "risky". Good. Dial it back.

If taken properly (daily dosage) you cannot contract HIV from an infected person nor spread it if you have reduced levels to undetectable. Yes you can still get other STIs but PREP represents a key safety net for gay men in particular. We should applaud the celebrity for being responsible but instead it's posted here like it should be shamed.

  42. And since "Gerbil" popped up in here so quickly he or she is obviously a regular lurker and/or a regular poster's alt. If it's the latter, come out, as your regular nick, then.

  43. good for him but still wear a condom. no warts no cancer

    ReplyDelete
  44. and..... why is taking a prep med even worthy of a blind item?

it's an adult taking responsibility for their own health and being considerate in a way towards potential sexual partners. no shame.
