The multiple Oscar winner turned Emmy winner/nominee threw some shade at the showrunner for the show which got her win/nomination. She knows he is screwing over the cast he used for years to line his own wallet.
pretty sure the person who did BLL is the show runner for NK's new show with Hugh Grant coming out at some point on HBO. And, NK is like the thirstiest actress ever.
@Angela, We're narrowing down the list of suspects, why don't you step out of the peanut gallery and throw your hat in the ring? What are your guesses for the two people in the blind?
1. Female actress -multiple Oscar winner -Emmy winner/nominee -threw some shade at the showrunner for the show which got her win/nomination
2. Male showrunner -worked with the actress on the show which got her win/nomination -is screwing over the cast he used for years to line his own wallet.
The tricky part is the actress with multiple Oscar wins. But find one person and you'll find the other.
The only possibilities would be Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda, Olivia de Havilland, Frances McDormand, Glenda Jackson, Jodie Foster, Sally Field, Hilary Swank, Cate Blanchett, Maggie Smith, Jessica Lange and Dianne Wiest.
And I don't need to step out of the peanut gallery for a blind item clearly put together by a monkey in the first place. It's just a variation on a blind item from July 9.
"So many big names are sitting out another season of this show because the showrunner got an increase to the budget by a factor of three but has worked it out so he can keep more if it for himself. He wasn't going to share, so they walked."
Everybody and their mother guessed that it was about American Horror Story and Ryan Murphy as it had just been revealed that neither Sarah Paulson nor Evan Peters would be part of the next season.
The budget being tripled was a false claim. There's no way that FX, which is under new management since Disney took over, would accept such a rise for a show that enters its ninth season, especially as they have no reason to keep a good relationship with Murphy given that he has now an exclusive development deal with Netflix over his new projects. Given that it will reach 100 episodes, the show may be eligible for syndication because of the order, and make Murphy some money, but its heavily serialized nature doesn't command Seinfeld dollars, if there's still money to be made with syndication compared to a decade ago.
Two months later, we have the same allegations, but this time Enty uses Jessica Lange instead of Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters as the cast member angry at Murphy.
And you know what? Enty hasn't taken a fucking clue from the previous blind and its obvious inconsistencies. Why is Sarah Paulson isn't involved in the next season of AHS? Because she's doing "Ratched", a Netflix miniseries... from Ryan Murphy. What is the next project by Jessica Lange? "The Politician" on Netflix, produced by... Ryan Murphy.
You act as if some of the content posted here as blind items was still actual gossip with some witnesses. The person who wrote these two blind items, presumably the same, hasn't even bothered to check the filmography of the actors to see if the narrative could stand, while it takes two minutes at most.
It's more difficult, and it takes more time, to refute gossip than to spread it. People here come from years of other blind items and they often have their own prejudices, so they're already biased against Murphy. They will assume that the accusations of being a pedophile and hogging all the budget for AHS after it was tripled must be true. So, if you want to refute these blind items, it takes facts, and evidence. No network would for instance increase the budget of AHS "by a factor of three". It's the ninth season, the ratings are sliding like any show of this age, and Murphy will develop his next projects for Netflix anyway. The non returning cast members for AHS or Jessica Lange are supposed to be mad at him because of the money, but they've signed for new projects produced by Murphy. All of this can be verified easily. If you weren't that gullible, I wouldn't have to be that long when I'm asked to give my take.

ReplyDeleteMeryl Streep?
ReplyDeleteOh, I like Kidman a lot. Good for her if this is the person enty is referring to!
ReplyDeleteI had her but deleted. Only 1 Oscar win(multiple nominations tho)
Delete@Tricia, I see. I doubt this is Meryl. Can't really see her risking a nom/win to do the right thing and I can't stand her anyway.
ReplyDeleteMeryl Streep and David E. Kelly
ReplyDeleteAHS Jessica Lange?
ReplyDeletehttps://www.eonline.com/news/1074280/don-t-expect-jessica-lange-on-american-horror-story-again
ReplyDeleteOh, Lange makes sense to me. I'm sad that she never quite had the career she deserved.
ReplyDeleteNo way this is Streep. She keeps her mouth shut for all industry types.
ReplyDeleteI'm not seeing Lange throwing shade though. 🤔
ReplyDelete@Brayson +1 Jessica Lang for the win LOL '
ReplyDeletepretty sure the person who did BLL is the show runner for NK's new show with Hugh Grant coming out at some point on HBO. And, NK is like the thirstiest actress ever.
Also...ENTY before has talked about how big of a douchebag Ryan Murphy is...that is his MO.
ReplyDeleteLange makes sense bc Murphy repeats and recasts vs other answers.
ReplyDeleteLange is in Murphys new show The Politician, which premieres next week I think
ReplyDeleteDon’t think she’s dissing him just yet
Its Sarah Paulson
ReplyDeleteNo Oscars for Sarah Paulson.
ReplyDeleteAnd The Politician is a show produced by... Ryan Murphy.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely have a few people here who rival Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot.

@Brayson87
ReplyDeleteIt would be easy if there was a list of actors with two or more Academy Awards in acting categories that was just a Google search away.
Oh, well, this page actually exists on Wikipedia, and it even mentions who's dead or alive.
