Blind Item #12

I can't believe this former A+ list mostly movie actor who is not above making ridiculous cologne ads for huge check, has not settled the lawsuit filed against him. Maybe he was waiting on these motions, but if it goes to trial, everything he says in that trial will be used in the bigger trial down the road. Do you really want to talk under oath about violence you committed when that other trial is looming?

  3. It's been obvious for a while now that the best Depp could hope for is a quick overdose. He is played out, guess that's what you turn into when you sell your soul, like watching a Gollum transformation year after year.

    1. Right? It's downright depressing even looking at him now. The darkness is visible.

Remember when Depp was well-liked and respected as an actor? Look at him now, a drunk pirate-looking gypsy with a midlife crisis and anger issues.

  6. Depp is my age. We both hung out in the same places in LA in our 20s and 30s. It was a time where self-expression was keen and getting high was...well...done by all. I married a musician from that time and place. He is still a musician and actor and voice over artist. While we do not use drugs and haven't since the early 80s, we still dress very expressively and not like the regular 57 year old dude in a polo, with a gut, wearing dad jeans. IS IT REALLY BETTER TO DRESS LIKE A DUDE WITH NO CREATIVITY AND A DAD BOD JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE OFFENDED BY SCARVES, CHAINS AND TATS. N O P E. You get on ahead with your dockers and polos. I'll settle for Stevie Nicks chic any day and my husband (who rocks a great bod still) will continue in a very tasteful, creative ROCKER look.

  7. IMHO - the trial with the plaintiff, a worker from the City of Lies film, if it goes to trial, will not effect the defamation suit because the plaintiff will not prevail. We have not seen plaintiff's witnesses to be sure, but the declaration given under oath by the script supervisor says the plaintiff is LYING. I am sure Depp has other witnesses as well, but because the script supervisor was there for every moment of the alleged incident, it doesn't look good for the plaintiff which will help his defamation case. Also, judges rarely look at arrest records going back 20 and 30 years when adjudicated whether or not someone got smacked on set today. Also, just what kind of injuries does plaintiff have? Whether or not you like Depp, or his "clothes" (lol) has nothing to do with fact of law

  8. So....Sunkist - do you work for Depp's team or what? Very technical denial of....legal stuff.

J - I think you got under his skin with your gypsy-pirate comment.

  9. @Sunkist, You seem pretty intolerant of people with dad bod, is it just dads or everybody?
Creativity can be determined by how many scarves, chains and tats one has, hot damn, to the Hot Topic!

    1. Seriously. I guess no one told Sunkist that when everyone in HWood is being as "edgy" as they can, they do all wind up looking alike, uniform and confirming. Pretentious, phoney, somehow convinced their uniform is superior.

  10. No, that was rosemary.

lol at anyone who thinks the clothes a person wears are indicative of creativity, talent, insight, etc.

Depp is a beatoff who showed up in Hollywood, started making money, and begged people he deemed to be "cool" to let him hang out with them. What? $3mm for Hunter Thompson's rocket thing? Pathetic.

I didn't mention his clothes. I live in Marin, and we occasionally see people who don't wear khakis. I don't give a shit either way. But I did read that embarrassing longform piece about him a year or so ago... in which he's nonstop rolling tobacco or dope... and I've seen photos of him and his skank ex... and I have zero hesitation in deducing that he smells like moldy crotchrotted underwear.

So fuck him, and ha ha to poor triggered Sunkist.

There's nothing more pathetic than 50 year old "rockers" with sagging skin and bitch tits trying to dress like they're Axl Rose and still in their 20's. CA is full of them, just go to any concert with one of the washed up bands from that era, you'll see a whole crowd of them.

  16. I think generally as people get older they try to be more subtle in their attire, not so much beating people over the head. I love it when businesswomen add little goth or punk touches to their outfits.

  17. I just enjoy the profound monologues in these celeb-fueled ads. I wish I had the editing skills to try to create a Depp, Pitt, McConaughey (sp?) conversation using clips from commercials. I'm sure the whispery, stoner-style philosophizing combined in the right order might just become the missing link some Think Tank has been needed.

  18. Wasn’t there someone on the set who took photos proving he didn’t attack him? Have we even seen this guys injuries? He seems to be a shameless grifter tbh who was salty because he had got fired.

To be honest @Sunkist the problems I see immediately when I look at your client Johnny aren’t his clothes, albeit horrendous and reminiscent of a homeless woman, but what doesn’t fail to grasp my attention are his disgustingly filthy fingernails that look worse than the crackhead’s down the street, the skin hanging from his face (due to drugs mainly, not fat or part or a “dad bod”), slurred speech when he gets to talk, the fact that he has to hide his eyes 24/7 with big glasses (hmm wonder why that is!), his gruesome yellow & partially eaten-away teeth with tartar accentuated with vile gold teeth (your boy is known to appropriating pieces associated with minority cultures such as gypsy & Native American in order to look ~edgy~ & ~unique~), and the lack of light in his eyes. Those, of course, are just the first few things that I pay attention to when I look at Mr. Depp. His old body and history of violence linked with alcoholism are just the things that come to my head immediately after.

  20. Johnny Depp has been doing the Dior ads for quite awhile. Say whatever you’d like about the way he dresses, etc., but the reason why he is still their spokesperson is because it’s working.

  21. Yes, fashion is creativity. Yes scarves and chains are fashion. No dockers and polos IMO are not creative and to each his own re dressing like a boring dud. Hope that answers all of your questions.

Your insecurity is duly noted. I will continue to go out of my way to protect all lupines no mater the color. Edgy or not.
Unless you are Johnny Depp. Then I must ask if eating a baby after raping the poor child has lost that edgy thrill yet?
Seriously though, how's the supply of Adrenochrome going? Bet those speed balls make a piss poor substitute.
I hear a Benny's worth of Acetyl Fentanyl helps ease the cravings.

  34. Just a brief outline of Johnny violent history with staff, girlfriend and business partners.

    https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/johnny-depps-history-of-violence-connection-to-missing-viper-room-business-partner-anthony-fox.1037637/

Anthony Fox vanished without a trace, coincidentally just before he was to testify against Depp in a bitter multimillion-dollar lawsuit, he was winning.

“I believe if Tony hadn’t filed the suit, he would be here today,” Donna Lynn, a Los Angeles music producer and friend of the missing man, told Radar.

Johnny was skimming from the mob/drug dealers and threw his partner under the bus, he is a snivelling little trash heap and has been for most of his life, he just can't cover it up any more. Publicly arrested at least four times for violence, so I can imagine how many times violent incidents were just covered up or paid off.

On several occassions , I personally witnessed the bruises on Kate Moss at the time she was with him, it was common gossip back stage at the catwalks.

Why won't Depp settle with Amber Hard (typo and it seems appropriate)? He must either despise her or just cannot come up with the amount of money she's asking for.

  39. Depp was not violent and has film set witnesses and the sworn statement of the film's script supervisor attesting that he did not hit Brooks. So why would he settle? Brooks is said to have nastily yelled at an African American homeless woman to get away from the street where they were filming. Johnny told Brooks he didn't have any right to speak to her that way or kick her off the street where she lived. That was the heated argument. Brooks was probably encouraged to go after Depp with his fake story to try to taint his case vs SCAMber Turd and his former managers, who lost btw.

  40. Oh johnny follow the light. I'm still a fan!

  41. The back story on Anthony Fox was that he was in trouble with the mob, who made him disappear. The Viper Room was only part of Fox's action. Depp turned most of the operation of the Viper over to the bartender/partner after River Phoenix's death in 1993 and lived mostly in France from 1998 through 2005, when he moved back to LA.

River Phoenix: people live to blame Depp for River's death, which is odd because Depp was on stage performing when the OD occurred. River was also sitting with his sister Rain and brother Joaquin - if blame must be placed, those two were actually with River. Or how about blaming River for risking his life and career by his own choice?

Kate Moss: I've never heard anyone even hint that Depp ever hurt her the post above. I don't believe the bruise story at all; Kate worked constantly. The rumor I find interesting is the one that Moss trashed the hotel room (it was mostly some broken picture frames and a chair; Roger Daltry was in the next room and complained that they did a poor job of hotel room trashing) and Depp took the fall for her. He had a movie to promote, so the PR helped call attention to it. Either way, the smashing wasn't directed at Moss.

  47. I’d also like to add that I think Depp dresses OK, but I’m fine with how people choose to dress, as long as your oozy and private areas are covered. I don’t want to sit in your sweat, ass juice, funk, unwashed butthole slime, secretions or urine, etc. The bar is so low nowadays, that’s really all I ask for. And to wash your damned hands when you use the bathroom!
