No. Full disclosure is I have only ever read part of one Potter book out of boredom and the writing was SO bad that I waited for the power to come back on with nothing else to do rather than try to finish the damned thing. Not just juvenile level but actual terrible writing. I would not try to read the other two series.
Anyway, none of the above. As for series books, my all time favorite is the Oz series of books, followed closely by the A Series Of Unfortunate Events books, which were hilarious and entirely original when they came out.
Harry Potter books are well written, after you get pass the first three. The first three were written for very young children. The last books are written for teenagers. Twilight books are poorly written, but I enjoy reading them.
On "which one volume was the best", the first Hunger Games book was incredible. I stayed up all night to finish it. For an overall series, Harry Potter. To be fair, I've not read the Twilight series.
I enjoyed the Harry Potter series of books. Didnt read the other two. I was dumbfounded by how bad the first Twilight movie was. His lipstick looked 3D, and then the glitter skin...I just couldn't with the whole thing. Maybe the books were better?
This connection between Flashy and Low Key is much more entertaining!
I loved Hunger Games (well, the last one kind of sucked), but Harry Potter was MUCH better written. I can't really comment on Twilight because there is no way you could ever get me to read that garbage.
I hate all of them
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter, I guess.
ReplyDeleteHunger Games was pretty good too.
Never read Twilight.
None. I’m too old for that shite.
ReplyDeleteNone of these interested me in the least, I consider them books for teens and tweens.

ReplyDeleteThe Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Better than all three of those put together. :)))
ReplyDeleteWhy not mail me a box dogshit too then. I'd prefer that.
ReplyDeleteChrist on a Segway, I'd rather eat my own feet than willingly read any of those piles of steaming pig excrement.
Isn't Harry Potter more than a three book series?
