@Jan15. He gave $1.5 billion to causes such as cancer research and many other great causes. He was a libertarian, however, and was for abortions and gay marriage and did not vote for Trump.
I think you tally up all the good he has done for people. It outweigh the "preconceived" bad. He was a man who had his own beliefs but gave a lot to those who needed it.
Vegan . I seriously don"t know how any living being can eat another beautiful intelligent sentient being. Please look up the films of what happens to a beautiful intelligent affectionate cow or pig in a slaughter house.
4-5 and while I respect your veganism, Daryl, I don’t want it forced on me like so many vegans try and do. What is with that? You do you, leave the meat eaters alone. If people want to be vegan they’ll be vegan.
@Fuschia our pork comes from a local farmer. He exclusively works with one butcher/meat locker. I smoke and cure our bacon (and other pork products) so I know exactly how our food is made. I can pretty much provide you with direct from the farmer/rancher to most everything we eat so please don't throw out generalized comments. We were ovo-lacto vegetarians for years but vegan? No thanks.

ReplyDeleteDid I miss a post on David Koch? He died on the 23rd. He was listed as the 11th-richest person in the world alongside his brother.
ReplyDeleteI would be interested in any informed thoughts about him.

ReplyDeleteVegan. It disgusts me how ignorant most people are about how their food is made.
