Better Off Dead -- Never heard of Steel Magnolias -- No interest in Raging Bull -- No interest in Mystic Pizza -- Might watch some time The Outsiders -- Tried to watch couldn't get into Flash Dance -- No interest in Coming To America -- No interest in
All of columns 1 and 3 (although I JUST saw Karate Kid a few months ago, after watching the first season of Cobra Kai -- highly recommend that show, BTW) and eight out of column 2.
I really need to get a life. Based on just this list alone and how many times I have seen them. I've spent more time watching than I have sleeping in the last two months. Evil Dead 2 is better. I finally watched The Beach Bum, McConaughey has an abnormal foreskin.
If you haven't seen Better Off Dead and you dig stuff like Weird Science and Bill & Ted ... see Better Off Dead. It's hilarious. And will probably answer some questions you may have about an episode of Family Guy. :)
All of them. I'm of that generation. I also sport some of them in my permanent catalogue....
Getting ready to watch Johnny B Good based on an old blind. I want to see if Michael Anthony Hall really has a limp in the movie from his offset gymnastics with the cheerleader in the hotel room. Idiot. He did NOT age well...
The ‘80’s were when we all got a VCR and rented movies. That was also the decade that I was working 19 hrs/day 6-7 days/wk so I missed most of them. Who do I talk to about getting the gig taking pics for “I’m not a robot”?
gabes_human when you get the "I am not a robot" gig, I'd be eternally grateful if you could make the photos clearer and lighter. I don't enjoy being reminded that my previously perfect vision is no longer. Cheers
26. Obviously I need to go relive my coming of age years.

ReplyDelete17. I think. I was stoned a lot in the 80s
ReplyDeleteFunny question for this venue. I have seen every single movie listed here at least once, I have seen many of them 2/3 times.
ReplyDelete34.25. I've seen parts of The Goonies but I can't sit through the whole thing. Never even knew Better Off Dead existed.

ReplyDeleteI really need to get a life. Based on just this list alone and how many times I have seen them. I've spent more time watching than I have sleeping in the last two months. Evil Dead 2 is better. I finally watched The Beach Bum, McConaughey has an abnormal foreskin.
ReplyDelete28 Steel Magnolias still makes me laugh and cry.
ReplyDeleteAll but two. And some of them 20 or more times. Breakfast club is a classic, my teen daughter even likes it.
ReplyDeleteI've seen everything on the list but Evil Dead.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't seen Better Off Dead and you dig stuff like Weird Science and Bill & Ted ... see Better Off Dead. It's hilarious. And will probably answer some questions you may have about an episode of Family Guy. :)

ReplyDeleteEveryone but one. I'll fix that soon because now I'm curious
ReplyDeleteAll of them.
ReplyDelete33, only ones I didn’t see were Better off Dead, Raging Bull and St Elmo’s Fire
ReplyDelete28. Better Off Dead is classic adorable John Cusack. Aldo, Danny Boy is super creepy in it. Probably was just being himself.
ReplyDeleteI want my two dollars and Language lessons.
ReplyDelete32, but I had to think about a couple of those because I wasn't sure whether I'd actually seen them or just *felt* like I had.
ReplyDelete34
ReplyDeleteI've seen all of them. Great list!
ReplyDelete28 of them.
ReplyDeleteA few I suffered through to the end only because I was with friends.
All of them. I'm of that generation. I also sport some of them in my permanent catalogue....

ReplyDelete22 or so, back when movies and popcorn were much cheaper.
ReplyDeleteThat fat kid is a bit weird.
ReplyDeleteFlashdance. Everyone thought it was about me.
ReplyDeletegabes_human when you get the "I am not a robot" gig, I'd be eternally grateful if you could make the photos clearer and lighter. I don't enjoy being reminded that my previously perfect vision is no longer. Cheers
ReplyDeleteI've seen most of these, but I'm going to save this post so that I can make sure I watch ALL of these at some point.
ReplyDelete22. Too busy not watching crap in the 80's.
ReplyDeleteAll the movies on the list except: Friday the 13th, The Goonies, The Evil Dead.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw The Outsiders later and I don't remember it very well.
Some really good films on that list.
Oh yeah, the other movie I saw later was "Footloose." It just didn't look very good at the time. Saw it later on cable when bored.
ReplyDelete32~didn’t see “Better off Dead”, “Friday the 13th, “Raging Bull” & “The Evil Dead”
ReplyDeleteI only saw “Network News” bc my Mom took me with her to watch nearly every new movie. She died in 1983, the last movie we ever saw together, was E.T.
One Crazy Summer should be on this list.
