Nope. Never. My motto is/ was, In the words of Shania Twain: if you're not in it for love, I am outta here. And, it has worked out pretty well for me, unlike all the people in Hollywood, Not judging others or anything, but, old adages on the subject are pretty accurate.

One, it turned out, had a boyfriend who was a Massachusetts State Trooper. (Honestly, I did NOT know that at the time.) However, the Owner of the bar heard I 'took her home' (to my place) and warned me that the trooper was actually a crazy man. (Long Story)
He said if I ever "dated" her again, I was fired!
Taking his advice, I enjoyed full employment until I moved to LA!
@HeffalumpsAndWoozles: Would you rather have to wait hours for the comments to go through if none of the Enterns are available to approve them? And if the moderation were turned off all the time the comments would be overrun with Derek's attacks again. I don't like the moderation much either, but it sure beats having to read all the bullshit they posted.
I am so glad you asked this ? Enty. It explains so much. I have and always been afraid of STDs/ unwanted pregnancy. Many of my friends have had one night stands and what not and turned out fine..it is.just not "in" me. ; P

Back in the late '80s, college age Sagan hit the sunny beaches of Jamaica with a group of rock musicians from Jersey where she was going to college. Since she doesn't do anything alone, her BFF came along. After missing said BFF and the King Of Swing guitarist one hot afternoon, she nearly fell over from laughing as the BFF and guitarist emerged from a grotto - and the BFF was walking bowlegged. Little did she know at the time, but Sagan had her own scarlet A in the form of gripping hand prints on her fanny and hips. That very first kiss was my first kiss goodbye.

Twice, the first one was fantastic! The second was not so great! Started great, but it slowly started to fizzle out and felt pretty dull to me. I much prefer to know them and then let it fizzle out after a couple weeks!
