Musk better enjoy all his "wealth" while he can that came out of our pockets from the government. Rot in shit.
ReplyDeleteSolar panels seemed like a good industry until the Chinese undercut us across the board.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think burning down Walmarts would make Musk more popular with the liberal media ;)
ReplyDeleteThe solar industry needs an actual genius, not an Elon Musk, to become viable.
ReplyDeleteWaste of a blind.

If the Walmarts had blinds then maybe the solar heaters wouldn't have caught fire.
Baddum tish!!
Flashy is on fire today!🔥
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm no solar panel, Erin!😁
ReplyDeleteHe treats his workers so badly I wonder if there might be a little bit of payback going down on the production line. We all know he has no safety culture and probably no significant quality inspections before the product is due to roll out.
ReplyDeleteA client at my former job (A+ list CEO) had those Tesla solar panels. His LADWP bill doubled when he got them & he had them serviced many times but they never worked right. I guess he’s lucky they didn’t burn down his home.
ReplyDeleteMuskie just got a huge break from China today though - he is building a plant over there, but wrangled some deal right now that his cars will be exempt from tariffs like other ones have, thereby making them 13-14k cheaper! Who knows what he did to get that.
ReplyDelete@ emeraldcity - agreed. I know people who currently work and some who have worked for him at Space X and he only cares about his vision and Does.Not.Care about the safety of his employees. He only cares about time and dollars. It’s only a matter of time until there’s a catastrophic accident at one of his plants. Fuck that narcissistic jackass.
ReplyDeleteLet's see build panels that collect energy from the sun using all kinds of heat retaining materials and then store that energy in some kind of battery apparatus...manufacture it all in China to save money with the cheapest materials and labor possible and then install it on the rooftops of houses mostly constructed of wood and other flammable materials. I mean what could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDelete@MissDavie:
ReplyDeleteThe panels that caught on fire were made in the Buffalo NY plant, not China!
America needs GOOD solar panels that do not cost an outrageous price. Electricity is one of the worst things for the environment. It costs about five thousand dollars for the batteries which have to be replaced periodically. Unfortunately China was selling them cheap....poorly made is not surprising. Don't trust products like tooth paste sold in dollar stores as so often they are chinese made. They have absolutely ruined their environment. Read years ago that they were transporting water from the Great Lakes by tanker ships.
ReplyDeleteWhere were the panels made?
ReplyDeleteBad enough working stiffs lost their houses to "Chinese drywall," now they are losing their new roofs to Musky solar panels?
Clark St. - many MANY products labeled "made in USA" are only assembled in the USA, from pieces made in China.
ReplyDeleteThey need to close that legal loophole.
Caveat emptor.
I've always heard "ONLY buy solar panels made in Germany."
