This A list HGTV star (D list if you don't watch the network) wants a solo show with his new girlfriend just like his ex got. The new girlfriend really would like to expand her own reach and pocketbook and has really been pushing the A list star to do something about it.

Christina has her own solo show, so might as well try to get his own show
ReplyDeleteTarek! Didn't you learn after what happened to you the first time?!
ReplyDeleteAh flipping, nothing like taking affordable homes and making them unaffordable for profit. ;)
ReplyDeleteWatch out Tarek! Do not ruin your kids' lives by bringing this unsavory woman around.
ReplyDeleteI hate flipping houses shows. A lot of the time they just ruin the houses. It seems every old house in my town was flipped by the same people doing the same ugly reno.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Tarek thinks he needs a female counterpart. He could carry a show himself and just show him interacting with contractors and designers etc. from a wide variety of types.
Miss Davie........notice how much it costs to paint a small room etc. on these shows? Painters mostly spray paint these days, except for Boston ...they seem to appreciate authenticity still.....a good idea for a show , to me, would be to teach people how to paint. Another idea would be to not tear down all the walls ...Who wants to face a sink full of dishes when you walk into a house? TV like movies so often promote a fantasy world.
ReplyDeleteI agree molly I don't like "open concept" at all. Who knows 20 years from now there may be flipping shows that are putting back up the walls they are knocking down today.
ReplyDeleteI also hate when all they talk about is "open and airy".
Brayson87 - yes! And with cheap horrible materials like laminate flooring.
ReplyDeleteAll those trends only date a house.
ReplyDeleteI just closed on a 1930 Craftsman bungalow yesterday. The arched cased openings, original non-painted doors and crystal knobs, original beautiful hardwoods, the tall baseboards and crown and the original fireplace. The kitchen, baths, electrical and plumbing have all been upgraded and tthe rooms are true in the style of the period she was built. It has a 2.5 detached garage. It even has a butler’s pantry and the original 12 pane, 2 sidelight double front door. Not one wall will be removed, no doors painted or replaced. She’s a grand old lady and I plan to honor her history and die within her beautiful walls.
ReplyDeleteJealous
DeleteWhat a fool, he could easily carry a show on his own and get rid of all these Gold Diggers.
ReplyDeleteWeekittylass: Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooow....CONGRATS, Weekittylass! Daaamn, I am jelly.....
ReplyDeleteSigh, weekittylass, that sounds awesome. Thank you for not gutting it to put in granite countertops and laminate flooring.
ReplyDeleteAs a long time Real Estate Broker, I have advice for you home buyers.
ReplyDeleteNEVER buy a house that's being FLIPPED!
Even if the Flipper has a TV show.
They never fix/repair everything that's wrong.
