One of the keys to sending the disgraced producer to jail for a long time is this former B+ list actress who had a great role on a now defunct pay cable hit. She is in negotiations though for a big check from the producer in exchange for her silence.

The public even those against Paz/for HW comment she is fragile.
I don't judge her if making her prison a bit cushier is the only justice she gets because frankly the court system rarely metes any out.
The system is rigged to benefit predators, then some make fun of victims for giving up. Makes me sick but it's just commenters telling on themselves isn't it really? All a big freaking joke to some people.

Paz de la Huerta. I don't understand how. Her story is that Weinstein had his eye on her and helped her career but waited until she was legal age to have sex with her. Then he "raped" her which could really mean anything in her mind, I have not heard her details yet. All Parties would be well advised to settle on this one.

Trauma victims don't always have the wherewithal to sort out what to do while still processing the trauma.
Many do not say it out loud for decades afterward.
I can think of recent cases in which the victim 'did everything right' the way the hindsight pundits/judges want them to. And it did not matter. Because males, especially wealthy and or famous and or powerful males, matter more.
I am thinking of cases that were on video, and/or the victim went right to the ER, got a rape kit done, told the authorities (sometimes a college authority they trusted - who then buries it), so many cases. E. G. The guy who was just acquitted (last week), although a video shows him dragging the victim in.
People really don't seem to have much clue how this actually works.
If people read #MeToo posts instead of making fun of it, they might learn something. But their mind would have to open first. That's not @ anyone. It's an epidemic of ignorance.

Why do some (not @ anyone specific) not want her to get anything at all? HW doesn't need anyone's protection or intervention. His victims do.
MeToo did not cause those men's downfall, to whomever it might concern. Their companies or bosses used social media to get rid of expensive salaries or take over their shares. They got rid of some overpaid guys who got on their nerves or whose jobs they wanted or wanted to refill.
@Samantha - Paz is such a hot mess trainwreck that it's nearly impossible to figure out if she was actually raped, as she claimed. If she was raped, perhaps a reason he chose her is because she's mentally unstable and not a credible witness
