ReplyDeleteYou do not have to be at the top of the power structure to be abusive, only have to be in that majority to have that structure's help. Not all abuse is institutional, although that certainly exists too, and it's compounded that way.

And whoever this is, fire them and sort it out later.
ReplyDeleteThat show Deviant Brains (not hard to figure out) canceled itself rather than deal appropriately with a crew member who MULTIPLE men had accused of sexually abusing them right on set.
What's more, when they had told the higher ups, the accusers got fired, not the accused.

It's ridiculous, but if they actually believe that, they just dig in. Or if they are trolling for attention. Hard to tell which. I dunno how such things (libel) make it through moderation btw, but I've seen some ads slipping through too.

ReplyDeleteIt's (racism) usually talked about in the west as white over/vs. black, etc., but white isn't the majority in every part of the world.
I don't know the stats in the west any more tbh.
But I spoke of on a person to person basis or level. There are people who won't hire, let their kids date, do business with if possible, etc., outside of whichever 'racial' or 'ethnic' (or religious) background they and their family are from.
Or who beat, kill, harass, etc. based upon that of others.
Seems to be a human disease, not a racial one.
