Blind Item #10 - Mr. X
Since that three lettered cable news channel's ratings continue to plummet, two of its primetime anchors are putting feelers out to the big 3 networks for either a morning show or nightly news position.

Cuomo and Cooper
ReplyDeleteCNN - Anderson and Chris Cuomo
ReplyDeleteCNN the losers
ReplyDeletecoop back to cbs
DeleteCBS
ReplyDeleteSuccessful networks don't make money by hiring losers from CNN. They make money by stomping on losers at CNN
ReplyDeleteCNN and Chris cuomo?
ReplyDeleteCNN
ReplyDeleteCuomo and Tapper?
CNN. Their ratings are terrible.
ReplyDeleteLast time i watched one of the networks Dan Rather/Peter Jennings were still the anchors...I get all my news from Cdan, chans, and twitter.
ReplyDeleteCNN and Cuomo and Lemon?
ReplyDeleteThey should bring back world news.
They should bring back non partisan journalism and weaponized media
DeleteThey should stop hiring fags like the aptly named Don Lemon
Delete@Duh, most homophobes are secretly gay. Stop fighting the feelings.
Delete@tricia, you don’t actually want that, do you?
Delete+10000 cocobean.
DeleteThey should bring back Lynne Russell.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Cooper under contract to CBS at one time? He was a part timer on 60 Minutes.
ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This makes me so happy.
ReplyDeleteYou faked your way right out of existence. Perfect.
former fbi agent and owner of true pundit, michael moore a.k.a. thomas paine broke a story that high level fbi agents were/are having romantic relationships with on air anchors at cnn. that brings new light into how cnn knew to be outside of roger stones house when the fbi arrested him.
ReplyDeleteI miss the days of just hearing the facts and being allowed to make my own judgement.
ReplyDeleteSee ya, FAKE NEWS!
ReplyDeleteStop with the gay bashing.
ReplyDeleteThat’s stupid, Cocobean. Are most pedophile haters secretly pedophiles? Or does it only apply to “homophobes”? That argument never made sense.
ReplyDeleteWe're all shocked that something like this doesn't make sense to you.
Delete@Astra Worthington https://www.nytimes.com/2012/04/29/opinion/sunday/homophobic-maybe-youre-gay.html
DeleteIt’s also refreshing that y’all seem to realize it’s all propaganda and lies. Too many people still believe it, because “if it’s on tv it MUST be real”. 🙄
ReplyDeleteWhy would a network look to CNN failing hosts for work? If people do not turn into them at CNN what makes anyone think they would tune into them on Network. Brian Williams was demoted from NBC to MSNBC not promoted. LOL
ReplyDeleteBut, yes. I am so sick of weaponized media. I would never listen to one of their shows because they made evident on CNN their beliefs. Real Journalists should NEVER let their true feelings on their stories out. Pundits are different, but, all though all networks are obviously biased in their coverage over the last few years it would be a mistake just like hiring Megan Kelly was.
Imagine how bad the ratings would be if they didn't pay the airports to broadcast them.
ReplyDeleteCNN has been tilting right the past year or so. I stopped watching, other than occasionally tuning in to Anderson Cooper. Even their website is Faux News lite these days. I am certain Cooper will find another gig, not so certain about all of the others. MSNBC all the way #TeamRachel

DeleteGenuinely interested to see what this poster considers a legitimate news source.
DeleteI keep saying Andy and Don should dress up in Furry costumes and do the Yogi & BooBoo Hour.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine the hoops a network would be asked to jump through for Cooper. He would want the moon and stars. They should all be trying to leave if they have any sense. You know Acosta is waiting in the wings for the first opening.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Cuomo and Lemon who think they can get network deals. Cooper can do whatever he pleases. But No one wants the rats jumping off a sinking ship. CNN is barely a news network anymore.
ReplyDeleteman, you guys are gross...
ReplyDeleteI hope I never meet any of you
Cooper had a talk show at one time that didn't work. He can do anything, or not, that he wants to.
ReplyDeleteI think this is Tapper for one, although, he's a POS anyways. Well, they all are except for Don Lemon.
Wow the groupthink is so evident- FOX.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's FOX. Viewership is way down because nobody wants to hear the white supremacists rant anymore.
ReplyDeleteEw, leave me alone. You’re creepy 😬
ReplyDeleteSeriously....... to those saying Fox News...They have been LEADING in ratings at primetime for 3 years. Sorry if the truth offends you....CNN has had a spike because they refused to share viewing hosting of the democratic debates. That is actually bad news for democrats because that is pretty equal for what Tucker and Sean bring in nightly.
ReplyDeleteAnd, no it is to Fox. Seriously, in the nicest way possible, a simple Google search is your friend.
CNN once was the place to go for impartial news and a great alternative to FOX and MSNBC but now too agenda driven to the left. Maybe related to a hollywood type Zucker taking over in 2013 and choosing to fight FOX using FOX's methods. It didn't work. Hard to believe that MSNBC now has higher ratings. Despite this they seem to have doubled down with the hate Trump agenda and now only really compete with MSNBC and are losing. Just google the cable news ratings. I wish there was a cable news channel you could go to to get unbiased reporting. Walter Cronkite, Edward Murrow and David Brinkley must be rolling over in their graves. Do they even teach real journalism in universities anymore??? Sorry for the rant but seems like we've reached a place where people can't just disagree about politics- right or left- and move forward but now if someone disagrees with you they must be trying to destroy you or America so you need to destroy them- everyone is also expected to pick a side.
ReplyDeleteI was starting to think I was imagining a time when news was just the news. Facts not feelings. No opinions, no snarky little digs, just useful information.
ReplyDeleteOh, and FUCKING SOURCES! Or at least when they used an anonymous source, they got more than one. And did their due diligence when checking that information.
If a story was poorly fact checked, that shit was called out & it was a mark against you.
Now, so many assholes put out fake stories, no one gives a shit anymore. Everything is fake until I see a fucking source now.
Shit is frustrating AF
None of them do any investigative reporting anymore, they just all parrot what they are told to say. To find out any truth you have to dig around yourself. The way I know what is NOT true is when they're all screaming in agreement about something, and they do it all the time in spite of a few petty differences to keep people believing that they are different.
ReplyDeletewhen is the 2nd coming of Walter Cronkite?
ReplyDeleteCNN is Cooper's side gig anyway. The CIA is his primary employer.
ReplyDeleteI say keep in looking buddy.
ReplyDeleteIt was the terrible anchors and total lack of professionalism that did CNN in. Viewers of other stations don’t want to watch them, or we would have.
One of the best pieces of advice I ever got was” you gave got to learn to close the door”you get to move to another station when you will bring viewers not loss them.
Slam! Sorry Anderson, Jake, Don, Nicole “ Bush Kneepads” Wallace . The door is closed
Cuomo for the morning show guy. He should have stayed on the CNN morning show.
ReplyDeleteAll current primetime cable shows need to die. Especially the ones with the split screen talking heads that look like the Brady Bunch opening song.
How about serious journalists interviewing actual experts on whatever the topic is?
Instead it's Don Lemon allowing Rick Santorum to spew stupid for...reasons?
CNN, even worse that the BBC or Fox news and that's saying something.
ReplyDelete"Whoever controls the media, controls the mind." -- Jim Morrison. There really aren't any legitimate news sources right now, thanks to the Telecommunications Act of 1996. For sixty years, we had laws that prevented giant corporations from buying media outlets and regulations on cross ownership. Now, most media is controlled by just six companies. It used to be like sixty companies. This one political action has caused a lot of harm, but no one talks about it. So go argue about Fox vs. CNN. Different sides of the same coin. Worse, in 2017, a really scary act went into law that basically gives the government carte blanche to "expose and counter" any individual or entity that is deemed to be engaging in propaganda that undermines the US national security threats. Who or what is a threat depends on what administration is in charge -- it's not a left or right thing. It basically gives the government a free pass to lie to citizens if it it wants to. There was also another act in 2012 that allows the government to stage drills/enactments and pass them off as real. The act was originally meant to kept propaganda intended to mislead a foreign audience from being used on citizens, but in 2012 the government decided to use that same propaganda on us also. So who knows what is truth anymore. CDAN is a probably a lot closer to reality than any of our "news" about politics.
ReplyDelete@Duh - Is it dark in that closet? Let the light in, buddy.
ReplyDelete😂😂😂
DeleteAs someone who does not live in the states, I watch both CNN and Fox for a bit of a giggle and I get my real news elsewhere. Your news stations are as divided as the people. And a big FYI to all the folks saying they are sick of the media trying to manipulate the masses with slanted stories, welcome to reality, the media has been manipulating the masses since the beginning of TV.
