The doe was mad at herself after she blew fifty bucks at the bar.
Back to Black
You Know I'm No Good.
It's interesting you're asking this now as a friend just brought her up this past weekend. As I told him, I really didn't know anything about her. She just suddenly started turning up on the Drudge Report and then she was dead. I don't think I've ever heard her music.
When she was big, I was mostly listening to Classical and opera and had no real interest in the pop music scene.
Tears Dry On Their Own...best steal of a Motown song ever.
Valerie and Tears Dry on their own
Tears Dry or Back to Black
Super Comic- you should watch the doc, "Amy."
OMG I love me some Amy Winehouse. Back to black, but there are so many! If you haven't listened to her grab an album and fall down her wonderful rabbit hole
Back to Black, but, I like a lot of her music. It is so dark and rainy and cool here today....perfect Amy Whinehouse album mood. Gone to soon :(
"Wake Up Alone"
Who?
Rehab. Has anyone seen the doc made on her life? Very tragic and heartbreaking. :(
Valerie
Never listened to her music.
All of it. I am quite fond of Valerie and Back to Black and Tears Dry on Their Own. No way can I choose just one. What a loss. What an amazing voice she had.
teach me tonight from the jules holland show and so many many more songs from amy. her death still brings tears to my eyes.
Back to Black..tho I love the whole album but her album Frank is my favorite. 2 classic albums in her short time RIP
"Fuck Me Pumps" is one of the best songs ever
Back to black
"Valerie" and her cover of "Our Day Will Come".
Love is a losing game.
Yep, Love Is A Losing Game. Beautiful.
Valerie and her "Cupid" cover- also her live cover of Donny Hathaway's "I Love you More Than You'll ever Know". At her best, she was a force.
I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert in a little venue in Minneapolis. She was great, smoked on stage, which was a big no no as MPLS had just banned smoking inside. Between songs she drank from her red solo cup and it seemed the more she drank, the more the crowd cheered. I felt so bad for her. It seemed like she was at a point of no return. I still have the ticket stub for that show.
Valerie was The Zutons' hit. So technically not Amy's.
As far as I know, I've never heard any.

You Know I’m No Good
She'll be remembered, @Jon. You won't.
As for the question, either Wake Up Alone or Love Is A Losing Game.
"Fuck Me Pumps!"
Great singer.
Tears Dry on Their Own
Tears Dry on Their Own. I loved Amy, what a tragic loss.
Back to Black.
I highly recommend watching this:

So beautiful. So tragic. Gone much too soon.
RIP Amy.
+1 Zebra. You Know I'm No Good. Love that song.
Love Is A Losing Game
Valerie & You Know I'm No Good
I only know one song of hers (Rehab), and I don't really think it's all that. I've never understood why people went so nuts over her. She just never particularly affected me.
Back to Black Valerie, and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow
Valerie
Frank and Back to Black are both just great mood albums from stem to stern...if I put one on, im listening all the way through, and chances are to both.
Gosh, I love almost all of them. "Tears Dry on my Own" just takes me back to the 60s - Love it. Valerie. I agree with another poster - DO watch the documentary about her. I love her backup singers too - watching them just makes me smile. She was an amazing talent.
All of them. ❤️😠If I had to choose at gunpoint, I suppose I’d say Love Is A Losing Game.
You Know I'm No Good

F Me Pumps
Don't listen to Junks Mcgee.
