I definitely do want to see Once a Time in Hollywood as well.
I watched Spiderverse, looking forward to it, because of the buzz, but not super high expectations. I didnt like it. Not bad, just meh and not my cup of tea.
When my parents rented the VHS and i watched it with them, i started laughing again, my pop starts yelling "what kind of fuckin movie is this" and my is sayin "what the hell is he doing?" They almost shut it off.
The recent blind about Misty Upham made me look up Frozen River on Netflix and watch it. Damn was she good and Melissa Leo was fuc&king amazing in that! She definitely deserved her Oscar for The Fighter also!
I watched Death of Stalin a few days ago and it was pretty good. Funny too.
That's all I can recall if you don't count Ready Player One which was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Utter shitshow and travesty. The worst farrago of a film I've seen in donkeys years.
Looking forward to OUaTiH really loved Endgame but Spiderman was better as far as comic book adaptation goes. In Far from home Spidey was supposed to meet his long lost sister. There was supposed to be Kingpin as well. I wish they would stick to the source material like DC does. DC films are all bad minus Shazam. Some how it worked. Chucky made me feel bad for Chucky, the kid and his whore mom just sucked. Still haven't watched Moondog. I did like Shaft but I've always liked the series. Watching Leaving Las Vegas again.
End Game. I still suffer from PTSD because of it.
