  4. We have a rule- once the next vansy-based holiday arrives, any old stuff is thrown away.

  6. No but at my office there's a big fishbowl of "fun-sized" candy all the time. M&Ms, Reeses, Snickers, etc. Maybe 10 different types. NO ONE eats the York Peppermint Patties. When no one refills the jar it becomes just a silvery pile at the bottom of those rejects.

Weird because when I was a kid I liked those occasionally.

    1. Send those our way, J! The peppermint patties get fought over in our office!

  7. Gross. Why would we have leftover candy from October enty? And if we did, they'd be called Three musketeers and Milky Ways because those shits are BORING.

Enty needs some Your Turn suggestions

  8. First of all, Rosie, you come in on the day of MY daughters wedding and insult Milky Ways.

    Secondly, ew, no, gross.

Thirdly, why not a question about how others are beating the heat because I am DYING.

  9. Low Key, it's weird. I mean, they're not my favorite, but they're not really a problem.

  11. Wouldn't it have worms by now?

  12. Before it became healthy and trendy, it used to be the Special Darks that were always left, then Three Musketeers and Candy Corn.

What I dont pass out on Halloween or to friend's kids, I have learned to give to the Soup Kitchen the following Saturday, or I get myself in trouble

  13. We put out a bowl on the porch for H'ween, whatever is left goes to the teachers's box. That's usually empty by January. I keep a few peanut butter cups in the freezer, though!

  17. I don’t eat candy nor do I have trick-or-treaters. But when I was a kid, we each used to get a whole pillow case full of candy. We’d go home and trade with each other (to get rid of the stuff we didn’t like) and we’d keep some out but freeze the rest (we had an extra freezer so we each had a shoe box full of candy.) It lasted until Easter.

  19. Some of us are new and haven't seen any Your Turns before.

But if people have, why not comment with a list of suggestions, like Rosie hinted.
