Blind Item #8

The foreign born back in the day flash in the pan A- list singer welcomed the whole conspiracy thing when it was helpful to his career and drew attention to him when he needed it. Now though, with a tiny career resurgence he is trying to disavow it all and trying to pretend he didn't use to welcome it.

  6. Out of curiosity how did being an alien conspiracy theorist actually help his career?

  8. You Americans are so fucking lucky if you can describe Robbie bastard Williams as a "flash in the pan" singer.

If there's ever someone to put me right off aliens and UFOs, it's this cunt.

I've been fascinated with this since the Swissair downing of Swissair 111 in '98

  12. Wasn't he part of one of the biggest boybands in the world for most of the 90s, then went solo and was seemingly played everywhere for the next half-decade?

    1. Yes. He is hardly a flash in the pan. He has sold out stadiums and once had a $125 million record deal.

  14. There's an episode of old Channel 4 (UK) comedy show from ten years ago called Star Stories that took the piss out of Robbie Williams and Take That.

It was fucking hilarious. Had Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow fighting over a discarded meat pie outside the record company offices, for example.

Fair play to Barlow, he used to recommend the show to audiences at Stake That gigs saying it's closer to the truth than any of the press were.

Also include the best and most accurate assessment of any Robbie Williams song.

"I thought it were right wank, Gary, right fucken wank."

  17. I do have to laugh at the DM readers who are outraged at Robbie for disturbing his neighbour Jimmy Page's peace. Robbie's building a batcave or something under his manse, and Jimmy's taken him to court. Of all that effed-up stuff that ancient rocker got up to, and that's what sets him off?

  18. @ Flashy Vic I second you on the Star Stories tv show. I bought the box set off Amazon before it disappeared entirely. To all the Americans on here then please take a look, it's absolutely hilariouis. A lot of the episodes are to do with megastars so you will be able to get the jokes.

Also, look up the Big fat gypsy Kardashians. Pretty much rips apart the whole premise in genius fashion:)
