Neither the internet's former boyfriend/foreign born A list dual threat actor or the woman he calls his wife can get their story straight about whether there is a third child. Faking it or horrific life event?
@Rosie: Have you seen ‘The First Man’? I was at an event for the anniversary of Apollo 11; they showed that movie and he was quite good. Really captured the ‘unemotional male’ from that era.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/metro.co.uk/2018/09/18/benedict-cumberbatch-and-wife-sophie-hunter-expecting-their-third-child-7954812/amp/ Articles had her expecting in September of 2018. Still -they only have 2 children(per Wiki).
Speaking of secret children, despite Wackypedia's aloofness, "Musa of Parthia" was actually Caesar and Cleopatra's second child.
Musa of Parthia
Musa was Queen of the Parthian Empire from c. 2 BC to 4 AD. She is called as Thermusa by Josephus and is also known as Thea Urania (Astarte).
Marriage Musa was a Roman concubine* given by the Roman Emperor Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD) to King Phraates IV of Parthia (37–2 BC). Around the same time, Augustus recovered the eagle standards (Aquilae) lost by Marcus Licinius Crassus in the Battle of Carrhae in 53 BC.
Phraates IV made her his favored wife; he appointed her son Phraates V (2 BC – 4), commonly called Phraataces (a diminutive form), as his successor. She persuaded Phraates IV to send his other sons to Rome as hostages.
Reign with Phraates V With all rivals out of the way, Musa and Phraataces poisoned the king and assumed the throne in 2 BC. They appear together on their coins, and were apparently co-rulers.
Josephus alleges that Musa then married Phraates V, and, this being unacceptable to the Parthians, they rose up and overthrew them, offering the crown to Orodes III (who ruled briefly in 6).
*Concubines don't become queens. Well, Sparkles might, if she kills enough of the right people.
Internet boyfriend and the sometime/questionable wife has always been Cumberbatch and Hunter. Enty has always been making fun of the third possible kid.
Enty, I would stop running blinds about this because it now seems completely likely that it was a "horrific" turn of events & it's so terribly unlikely that a crime or a morally repugnant scheme was enacted here. "Where is the third child" well clearly if she was pregnant & then never gave birth to a live child that was publicized, then you know exactly what happened and maybe they just don't want to discuss that with the world! Most people really don't want to talk about their miscarriages with strangers.
BrianVan, VikingSong- it would be terrible if there was a horrific life event, and nobody should have to go through that. I agree.
But as with everything else in this "relationship" there's a whiff of BS, what with websites claiming there are three, articles claiming there are two, him claiming super duper privacy, but "leaked" information about their lives is everywhere. Then there are fans (even on here) that claim the child was born in January, his name is Theodore. No, his name is Finn. But nobody can point to a valid source of information, so who the hell knows.
Benedict Cumberbatch. Whatever happened, I hope they are OK.
CJ - they also told Moms to avoid smoking around infants, and not to sleep the infant on their back. They think that reduced SIDS rates. They also noticed a lot of the infants had a cold not long before they died of SIDS.
It's possible some met with foul play but I don't think all or nearly all did. I've known people who had a SIDS baby and were devastated (after Roe v Wade, btw, fwiw.)
@countjerkula - wasn't it when some vaccine at that age was introduced that SIDS went alltime high? Atleast here in Sweden it skyrocketed but was totally shut down.
Yes, infanticide has always been around. Exposing babies in the woods, tossing babies into the river Tiber.
Sad topic.
In some of those cases in which 4-5 babies died in infancy, they later discovered a genetic disorder, after disinterment and some type of medical testing. I don't remember offhand if it was DNA or what.
I can't tell if Count is being sarcastic, in character or actually serious. I'm guessing Count doesn't have children. SIDS happens in early infancy, usually before the baby has proper control of its neck muscles. That's why there has been a campaign to place babies on their backs and to use swaddles instead of blankets/pillows so that babies don't suffocate. There is a strong correlation with the rise of the "Back is Best" campaign & a steep drop in SIDS occurrence.
I believe The Count has children. I respectively disagree with The Count, as my friend's daughter died from SIDS while in the care of her grandparents. The whole family was devastated. My thoughts go to some kind of unrecoverable genetic defect, like Prince's son. Maybe the child lived, but with a very small, measurable life span. No need for that to be made public. In such times, you do what you can, and most assuredly, out of the public eye. No need for scrutiny.
The Cumberbatches have three boys. There was no sad life event. His IMDB page was updated by someone who didn't pay enough attention to update all three mentions of his children and nobody cares about Wikipedia. Some of The Current War interviews that are being published now were actually done back in December when the reshoots were filmed and the third child wasn't born yet. The editors are being lazy about updating the information. Has anyone seen any photos of Rachel McAdams' child yet? Doesn't matter, even if there are photos the tinhatters will claim it's a doll or a borrowed child, like the Harry and Meghan nutters on tumblr who think that Harry pushed a button on the doll's arm to make it blink.
BayAreaGirl oh yeah you're right - they weren't supposed to sleep babies on their tummy any more. They were told to sleep the baby only on the side or on the back. A lot of babies wound up with completely flat heads in back because of that. Moms were terrified to deviate from that advice. You could buy a triangle-shaped cushion to keep them on their sides but a lot of parents didn't even want to try that.
A lot of kids began to have completely flat skulls in back, to the point their foreheads bulged and their hair grew in funny.
People sometimes bought a helmet for kids to make their head rounder, later.
@MothMoon: Idk how often you read here (I don’t recall seeing comments from you before) but I praise the intelligence, truthfulness, honesty, and compassion in your post. Thank you 🙏🏻, and I hope you’ll post again.
@Count: If you’re trying to blame parents for their children’s deaths, why don’t you follow the case of Juan Rodriguez, who ‘accidentally left’ his 8-month old twins in his car in the Bronx last Friday for 8 HOURS when it was 86 degrees outside. After returning to his car, he drove for 10 minutes, until he finally realized that they were in the car and were dead and foaming at the mouth. In court, it was testified that the children’s body temperatures were 108 degrees. As far as I remember, you live in Brooklyn, so it shouldn’t be a long commute.
Boogie Down is basically a flyover state to me. Pass through if i have to, and observe through a window. One time at old Yankees Stadium and i will go to the new one sometime, but nothing else to see there.

Delete@Aquagirl saying a male actor was " quite good" at capturing the " unemotional male" is 😅😅.
Delete@Pissoff: The unemotional male from that era meaning the 1960’s.
DeleteJamie Dornan? I have never seen a picture of his new daughter, not even recently on a family holiday.

I'm guessing SIDS, aka Smothered Infant Death Syndrome.
ReplyDelete@Count: I’m assuming you mean ‘Sudden Infant Death Syndrome’?
DeleteWe all know Sudden is a joke. Rates some how plummeted when abortion was legalized, some mothers had 4-5 kids die of it. Nothing Sudden about it.
DeleteActually a relative’s son died from it a few weeks after he was brought home from the hospital. And it was not only Sudden, it was devastating.
Deleteit is really sad. not every mother hates their kids count.your baby mom must be a real piece of work @count

ReplyDelete@countjerkula - wasn't it when some vaccine at that age was introduced that SIDS went alltime high? Atleast here in Sweden it skyrocketed but was totally shut down.
ReplyDeleteAbortion & treatment of post partum depression have more to do with SIDS rate dropping than smoking around a kid or sleepin on their stomach.
ReplyDeleteCDC says no correlation between vaccines and SIDS.
Infanticide has been around since the dawn of man.
At those rates, though, CJ? Is my quibble.

ReplyDeleteEstimates swing as high as 40% for SIDS deaths that are homicides.
