Blind Item #1
Everyone at that celebration yesterday was just counting down the days until this A list director/choreographer gets his comeuppance. Too many teens he has used and abused over the years. Heck, if you go see this foreign born former A+ list superhero he has enough stories just by himself to take the guy down.
Kenny Ortega
ReplyDeleteAnd...Andrew Garfield? Though born here raised in UK Enty calls FB.
DeleteInteresting link.
ReplyDeleteLike so many others, this is never going to happen. Sad, but true.
ReplyDeleteKenny Ortega... and Christian Bale?
ReplyDeleteThough I’m sure he’s described other ways here.
I absolutely love Newsies (so bad it was great!) but I can’t even imagine what a cesspool that set was with all those boys and KO directing and choreographing.
+1Jimbonious
ReplyDeleteBALE Newsies Ortega
ReplyDeleteOrtega
ReplyDeleteBale
I finally took the time to watch the videos of Ortega's interaction with Dove Cameron on various shows. Excuse me while I vomit for days. I kept waiting for her to turn around and deck him. Mind boggling that he touches a young woman like that on live TV. Clearly he thinks he can get away with anything.
ReplyDelete@Sumby Ortegas out and gay though, so doubt he gets any kicks from feeling up Dove
ReplyDeleteI didnt see the vids, but choreographers do need to touch the body to get it aligned and in the right position.
Jizz hands.....👋👋👋👋
ReplyDelete😂🤣😂
DeleteNo one is going to get their comeuppance. #metoo is coming to an end because it has ensnared too many Democrats and Hollyweirdos and has achieved its political purpose (Roy Moore lost his Alabama seat, Kavanaugh's nomination was almost derailed, Matt Lauer who upset Hillary is out, Roger Ailes/Bill O'Reilly who were blamed for helping Trump win are gone and Democrats rode this righteous anger into the House in 2018). Also normal people are now reeling from the after effects of #metoo (men are wary of mentoring women or being alone with women lest they be accused of sexual harassment). Many people who were initially exposed, were exposed for political and business purposes and not because of their actions and then there was a domino effect.
ReplyDeleteAl Franken was forced to resign only because there was a Democrat governor in his state so the seat remained Democrat while Bob Menendez was allowed to stay in office because the governor at that time was a Republican. There is already an article trying to rehabilitate Al Franken andJames Gunn was apparently never really fired from Guardians of the Galaxy 3, (Disney never bothered to look for another director) just basically put on hold till the furore died down.
The real predators are still being shielded and Weinstein will probably walk. It was mostly mock outrage anyway especially in the halls of Hollyweird who not too long ago were giving Roman Polanski a standing ovation and defending him in interviews.
Top Notch!

ReplyDelete@gauloise so he is! I did not realize that.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't related to choreography, but even though he's gay, I still feel tihs level of touchiness is inappropriate. Here's a link: https://youtu.be/3n30LwC_G0c

I used to have a crush on him when that movie Salsa came out in the late 80s. Crazy how I can't even look at him now.
ReplyDelete@Acad - Is your tirade satirical? This is not a partisan issue. As enty has said regarding Epstein specifically (as his known records already reflect), it's people on both sides of the aisle who are engaging in awful behavior. Sexual predators come in all forms: Democrats, Republicans, non-politicals. Anyone who grew up in a conservative evangelical community can tell you that being on the political right does NOT absolve a person from being a sexual predator. To portray this like only liberal hollywood are pedophiles and rapists is delusional and dishonest. The problem is, predators are everywhere. Looking at the stats on RAINN.org.
ReplyDeleteI'm really not sure why people keep trying to make this a Republican VS Democrat/ Left VS Right fight, but it's not helpful to those who are victims and it doesn't fix the problem. I for one want everyone to be exposed. It doesn't matter if I like their political positions, if they're a rapist, pedophile, predator, etc, they're losing my support and I hope they get the justice they deserve.
Moving the moral goalpost to excuse and defend the people on "your side" who are accused of sexually inappropriate behavior is counter-productive and hurts everyone in the long run. You're not the do gooder you think you are. Kill your idols.
bravo @ sumby
Delete@Sumby thanks for the link. That is creepy!
ReplyDeleteI think MeToo is winding down cause it was only about rich celebrities and not society in general, so it was a fad like any other
ReplyDeletealso too many women got caught lying and I think people are bit reticent about accusing someone of something that can end a career without evidence or corroboration.
Under the age of consent teens or legal teens?
ReplyDeleteSniggers at sumby -you won’t make any friends here talking sense. :) I watched the video and it’s a little weird. At the very least disrespectful of her boundaries. She’s not a 7 y/o, or a puppy.
ReplyDelete@EponymousAnonymoud I've lurked, so I know, but I had to say something lol
ReplyDelete"also too many women got caught lying and I think people are bit reticent about accusing someone of something that can end a career without evidence or corroboration."
ReplyDeleteThis only happened in your right-wing, misogynist, incel imagination. And it's not just about rich people.
No, douchie hipster accused by the Dykstra mental patient lost some gigs but was hired back for others when her claims were found to be BS.
DeletePlenty of examples of BS stories. Look at Spacey. That case fell apart when people looked further than the headlines.

ReplyDeleteSpoken like a true low IQ Trump supporter! Are you pissed because people called out the pussygrabber?
Florence, it's a bit old news calling out "pussy grabber" because from what I can see, the newest is that Mueller speech.
DeleteAll you're gonna do is step in a pile w that nonsense here today
Christian Bale and Kenny Ortega
ReplyDelete+100000 @sumby
ReplyDelete@Sumby. I didn't mention Epstein. Epstein is obviously a bipartisan issue. His partner (the retail guy) was a big Republican donor until he quit the party over his anger at Trump becoming the nominee and Epstein was sentenced at a time when Republicans were in power and the retail guy was a huge donor at the time so he must have had clout. I have no doubt that both Republicans
ReplyDeleteand Democrats(and even the Royal Family) pulled strings to get him a light sentence because of his high ranking friends in both parties. The Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance's office later even tried to get his sex offender status level reduced to the lowest level. Vance still has his job while Acosta has been scapegoated and is out of his job. Epstein in my opinion doesn't even fall under #metoo as he was arrested and jailed long before the #metoo movement happened.
Of course I know that sexual predation isn't limited to right or left. My point is that especially in liberal Hollywood this behavior was tolerated and allowed for DECADES precisely because of their liberal values and opinions of naysers being prudish and unenlightened about progressive sexual mores. This is the very community that gave Roman Polanski a standing ovation. Quentin Tarantino's dad is on record saying he was blackballed from Hollywood because he sucker punched a high ranking Hollywood guy who told him he would give him a job in exchange for a blowjob. And Quentin's dad expressed regret for his action because it ruined his chance of a career in Hollywood. So how many people do you think acquiesced to such offers for careers. In other circles, these behaviors would be hidden, in Hollywood it was flagrant and often the accepted cost of doing business.
If you can't see the coordination behind some of these #metoo accusations then you have been unfortunately bamboozled and asleep. I am not defending the people on 'my' side. I am merely pointing out that I believe that #metoo was used as a political hit job to take out many people for their political leanings and unrelated actions and not for their actions relating to #metoo and some of the accused may have even been innocent while more serious offenders were protected because they were still useful. #metoo then became a dumpster fire that became too hard to control. Odious Wenstein for example was probably seen as an acceptable sacrificial pawn for greater targets and his own brother wanted him out of the company they co owned. You really expect me to believe that the same people who looked the other way or encouraged this kind of behavior suddenly became moral and outraged? Even the Les Moonves accusations reek of a hit job and a launching pad for further accusations which I won't go into. And I am not a fan of Les Moonves. I have followed the news for a long time to be able to detect this and I am usually able to predict the next move and overarching goal. An unrelated example is how years back there was a flurry of accusations/news stories about how Assad might use a gas attack against his own people and the US needed to invade Syria if that happened. I knew immediately that we would soon have a story in the news about a gas attack as justification for another war and sure enough there was an attack which was much later confirmed by the UN to have been done by the opposing militia. Those who wanted another war almost manipulated the American people once again into another war based on outrage and misinformation(Of course we still ended up in Syria). The people who manipulate the news and American public's outrage and feelings rely on the naivete and goodwill of people like you to achieve their overarching aims. The problem of sexual predation won't be fixed because that was never the aim, a few minor players will be removed while the problem continues and there are attempts to rehabilitate the image of the favored ones.
For those following the Epstein drama, he was found injured today after a suicide attempt. Why am I not surprised. I won't be surprised if he somehow dies, the case against him falls apart or he is the only one who goes down.
ReplyDeletelil obsessed by the whole thing @acad. take a break. or focus on your career
DeleteThat manifesto was tldr.
ReplyDelete@Florence So due process under the law is now a far-right-wing position. Not in my world, but thx.
ReplyDeletePoundMeToo is about adult prostitutes getting payback. Fuck 'em and the whores gold they covet.
ReplyDeleteThe real issue is Hollywood's dependence on Pedo-Blackmailers and the movers and shakers who coverup for these sick pedophiles. Pretty much the whole industry and under belly is beholden to these sick perverts with no accountability.
May the pain be epic and brutal.
ReplyDelete“This only happened in your right-wing, misogynist, incel imagination. And it's not just about rich people.”
Can you fit any more deranged buzzwords in there? Some of the women were even the subject of blinds here for their deviant manipulation of the metoo thing. If you think being Left wing gives you any moral superiority you need to wake the eff up, just visit Europe and I’ll show you what the Left wing so called liberals have unleashed on working class women and children in places like England, Sweden, Germany...
I agree with @Arcad. #MeToo is almost over because it failed to snare any big Republicans but has hurt a lot of big Democrats. Hopefully a few more of them (either Party) will get it before the movement is over. Also too many women screaming #MeToo who were screaming #I'lldoanythingforapart not too long ago.
ReplyDeleteThere was also an opinion that it wasn’t a suicide attempt. His cell mate is a former cop.
ReplyDeleteWhats the story with ortega and bale?
ReplyDeleteThink I mentioned this last week, but man! Visit Dove Cameron’s IG: she’s a narcissistic little dick. End of.
ReplyDeletePut a sock in it, Florence, Your vag, I mean. Kavanaugh hearings ring a bell?
ReplyDeleteher comment is much more entertaining that the manifesto pasted on here.
Delete@TwoDots- Agree!! I used to follow her on IG b/c I really liked her in Liv & Maddie, but man. I can't take her real personality lol I had to unfollow her quiet awhile ago.
