Blind Item #13

Apparently this permanent A++/A+ list mostly movie actor with multiple Oscar wins/noms is going to be hit with a slew of accusations against him. They are going to be released one week before his new movie is released.

    3. Tom is definitely not he appears to be. But he’s also not that high ranked yet (maybe he is)! Either way -Hopefully he won’t get there if the truth does get out.

  8. Um....Tom Hanks. Mister rogers Trailer just came out.
I don't see anyone else who might be A++ except leo and his movie is already out...plus rumors about Bubba Gump.

Why did he have to drag Mr. Rogers through the mud?

I wish it was De Niro...

  31. I don't think De Niro counts as A++ list. He's always been A or A+.

Enty ran a blind like this back in Feb. Nothing happened. I'll believe it when I see it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. "Multiple Oscar wins/noms" would be Hanks or DeNiro.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I hope it is Robert Deniro for the Joker and not Tom Hanks (even though I think Tom Hanks would be one of the few A++) and is still making amazing movies unlike DeNiro and Dirty Grandpa type films...

Tom Hanks was also cast in the Elvis biopic as Elvis's manager so if it is too bad of allegations that will hurt that movie as well.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Tom Hanks is def ready for a take down. America won’t accept it though

    ReplyDelete
  35. "This permanent A list mostly movie actor that everyone on earth knows is about to have some very serious allegations leveled against him by several people who claim he sexually assaulted/harassed them."

    Here's the blind from Feb.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Everyone says Hanks but he just had Toy Story and no mention of any messy behavior. Maybe it’s Pitt or DiCaprio?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Tom Hanks has given me the creeps for years; I would not be at all surprised if this is him.

    ReplyDelete
  38. A lot of people would want Tom Hanks to be accused. Of anything, actually. They don't know what, they don't know how, but the guy almost always plays decent characters, he's a liberal, so it must be an act, he's a fraud, you can't trust any of them, etc.

Actually, exactly one year ago, there was an aborted campaign by the QAnon crowd against Hanks, accusing him of being a pedo (how original...).

    https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jul/30/qanon-4chan-rightwing-conspiracy-theory-explained-trump

Of course, if you look closely at it, the blind item makes ZERO sense, but it will be enough to give the tinfoil hat crowd here a collective orgasm.

For starters, if you already have "a slew of accusations", why wait four months to publish them one week before the film is released?
    - If these are serious or criminal accusations, it means not reporting a felony to the appropriate authorities. Which is a misdemeanor (misprision of felony). A legal notion that a lawyer should be familiar with.
    - Even if these are lesser accusations, the people behind it appear to be more focused on harming Hanks' reputation than on reporting the truth. If you have a file strong enough, show it right now, in service of justice. By publishing actual teasers that early, Enty would actually compromise the whole operation. If anything about Tom Hanks is published around November 15, I bet your ass I would be the first in line to report to the concerned authorities that the whole thing was staged at least as early as July 23. The people behind the reveals mentioned that they had something, but they wanted to wait for the week before the film would be released, and it automatically makes the accusations looks suspicious, given that their prime motivation was to hurt the box office of the film.
    - Why leak the date of the accusations rather than their nature? If you had any dirt on Tom Hanks, what would be your first reaction? Talk about the nature of the horrible things he's done or announce a precise date, four months in advance, for more details?
    - If Tom Hanks has done horrible things, why give him a four month delay and a tip that would allow him to cut deals with some of his accusers, frighten a few others?
    Etc.

The whole blind item has more holes in it than the number of times in a day where Astra Worthington fantasizes about making love with Alex Jones.
Once again, Enty is playing every trick he knows to make the traffic (and the podcasts subscriptions) go up. Epstein being arrested wasn't the shot in the arm he expected, so he's been using every other card in his repertory to make it work in the last few days: child molestation, Bill Clinton, "secret societies" like the Bohemian Grove, with some dash of Meghan Markle or Lindsay Lohan as extras.

Anyway, this comment is approved by the "Rick & Morty Dream Daddy conspiracy" and by the AFIFF, the Avignon Famous International Film Festival.

  39. @Do Not Lie, that's a blind item that we don't even know is true.

I'll be sad if this is De Niro, since his (older) films are timeless to me and he doesn't fit this rating (he's never been A++ list) but he makes CONSIDERABLY more sense than Hanks. There's at least been some gossip about De Niro's behavior with women (NOT children regardless of what Entyland or certain people want to say), while Hanks is clean as a whistle.

Honestly, Pitt makes more sense. He has Ad Astra coming out, he dated a 16 year old, and this blind doesn't even specify these are sexual assault allegations- could be something with Angie.

@Angela, yeah he did this in Feb too and the guesses were exactly the same. And nothing happened.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous.

If I was busy writing an expose on De Niro or Hanks, set to be released in months, I sure as fuck wouldn't leak one word of it to a gossip website, where supposedly pedo-celebrity loving shills roam each blind to disrupt and breathe any mean word back to their overlord. These are two of the most powerful, wealthy, and connected people in Hollywood- why would I want to tip them off or give them a chance to pay off their accusers?

enty's track record of actually predicting who is going down and when is awful. he's been wrong far more often than he's been right.

    ReplyDelete
  41. LOL, I know you aren't using logic on this board now Angela.

I just don't think studios would keep casting him if there are bunch of allegations pending against him. Studios would be cutting checks right and left to protect the legacy of the films Hanks has been in and continues to still be in and if a bunch of allegations are brewing (if ENTY knows, they would know) he wouldn't keep getting hired.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I have no idea.. but not even a week til Tarantino new film.. nor am I buying into Tom. DeNiro? Yeah, I can picture it. He’s an angry

A++/A+ indicates very few movie actors. It's gotta be Hanks. I'll believe it when I see it. Likely we will hear about an unknown former child actor committing suicide or dying of a drug overdose.

  47. Why not Tom Cruise? Maverick for the movie?

  49. The blind refers to Tom Hanks, but it's bs, manufactured by QAnon.
Supposedly, some lady claims that when she was 13, she was sold into sex slavery to Hanks (not sure of details, can't keep up w their tales tbh). It is being solely spread by QA folks, so that tells you all you need to know.
See first comments from a QA account on @abeautifulday twitter official trailer post. QA have a list of other celebs they are promising to take down- DeNiro Spielberg etc included of course :/

For a good read on how to take someone down using ultimately questionable accusations, see The New Yorker's article on Al Franken. This site is mentioned. Right wing plan from the start, executed to perfection.

Sucks bc it muddies the waters for real pedophiles/harassers, so you don't ever know who to believe.

Enty, I know you wanna report all blinds to stay on top, but would be helpful to refrain doing QAnon's bidding, to say the least.

  50. Whatever it is will be released with the info from the Epstein trial. Are any of these suspects involved with Epstein? We will see.

  56. @Erin: Brayson is just fine, I'm keeping him hostage as a sex slave. (Our witty banter as foreplay is an epic bonus.)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Brad Pitt seems highly unlikely. He doesn't have the whole controlling-abusive-violent thing. He always seems very chilled and easy going.

Tom Hanks would indeed be devastating.

De Niro fits: he's clearly mentally unhinged, deeply delusional, and very dishonest. Still waiting for him to move to Canada or Spain or wherever he was going to move to, together with all those other lying pompous blow hards. Fingers crossed they keep their promises come Trump2020.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Tom Hanks refused to star in a film because the script was "disrespectful" to his friend Bill Clinton

Tom Hanks predicted the exact location where Isaac Kappy died and he died suspiciously

Tom Hanks has been A list for decades and if he is A list he knew what went on in hollywood

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hanks does make the columns, so I don't know why people don't see that. I am a fan of one of his ex's: but Toy Story 4 IS a big investment, so I doubt it will happen to him then. DeNiro can handle it, so I really doubt it will be that big.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Just to be clear @mojospin, Al Franken has 8 accusers, not just the one. He stepped down because he knows what he did. He's coming back around trying to rehab his reputation, so the typical PR people here are saying the typical PR things him here.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I saw the trailer for Mr. Rogers yesterday. Tom Hanks is soooooo fucking creepy in it!!!! Based on that alone, I vote Tom. 😂 Why, oh why, couldn’t they leave Mr. Rogers alone? He was one of a kind. And it was a different era, a different vibe. If Mr. Rogers show was to have debuted in this day & age, it would have bombed. I love everything he was, but as a kid, his show bored me. It was just something to watch until the good cartoons came on.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @eeorr Toy Story 4 was actually released one month ago, and it is a production with five times the budget of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood ($200M vs $40M).

Once again, I hadn't thought of it, but that's one of the many reasons for which nothing in this blind item, obviously about Hanks makes any remote sense, and why it's BS.
If somebody has a whole file of reveals about Hanks, the release of Toy Story 4, just a month ago, would have been a much better timeframe.
If somebody has already evidence that would allow Hanks to be exposed, they wouldn't sit on it for four months, with a plan set in stone to release it all in mid-November (or even September, as A Beautiful Day... is supposed to premiere in Toronto during TIFF). And they wouldn't let leaks to this plan happen, like this blind item.
If there was some truth in this blind item, Enty would do a disservice to the people behind the operation, as posting this could give the actor (Hanks) and his legal team a head start to strike back, by having the victims and the witnesses change their story, or by having refutals ready by the time the reveals get published.

So, it would be totally stupid to let such a blind item be posted, as it would actually help its implied target. As I don't think Enty is that stupid, I just understand that he's pretty confident about his readers being hateful idiots who will eat this as if it were manna from Heaven. Think about it. Tom Hanks, the on-screen depiction of decency, playing Mr. Rogers, with a universal message of inclusion, mutual understanding and kindness, that's not something they want to see, as America is under threat by liberals, immigrants, antifas, minorities, pedos, Trump critics, etc.
And Enty will make vague promises that the major permanent A++ actor will be hit with a slew of accusations. That's music to their ears, even if the tune is completely wrong.

Sarah Ruth Ashcraft publicly accused Hanks some time ago. What seems odd is why she hasn't been sued for slander or whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Anonymous3:09 PM

If some of the rumors about Hanks are true, I don't even know how the public will deal with it. He's "beloved" and a "national treasure" and all. I have never been able to stand to even look at him, which is usually a pretty good indicator (it's a gift lol). I just never liked him at all.
He's creepy as Mr. Rogers and I don't even understand why a Fred Rogers bio-pic needs to be made, other than to continue to ram Tom Hanks down our throats.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Is there anyone else who has trouble taking the word of any accuser/accusation that is "released" according to a movie schedule?

If I'm the victim of a crime, I'm going to the police immediately. Maybe the next day. Certainly not months/years later, certainly not linked to some unrelated fluff like a movie, and I'm definitely not going to be using lingo like "releasing" my accusation. I probably also want, at least initially, the minimum possible attention from anyone other than the investigating authorities. They can generate their own attention later when they are ready to bring their case.

    ReplyDelete
  70. "his readers being hateful idiots who will eat this as if it were manna from Heaven"

    But - you're here too.

    Unknown at 5:35 PM -

This is suuuuch an old tactic to shame victims. SUuuuch an oldie and a moldie.

"If I'm the victim of a crime, I'm going to the police immediately. Maybe the next day."

If you haven't been, don't say what you 'would' do because no one knows til it happens to them.

Why do people go to such great lengths to victim shame, though?

The typical time to even tell anyone is DECADES later.

Some report right away. MANY do not.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @Unknown 5:35 PM:

Perhaps so. Or if there is a true need, then what is the object of the need?

Perhaps the person/s are worried about getting "hushed" up or overlooked. The subjects of the incident/s know what happened, it is the rest of us that do not know the details. It is public awareness and pressure that is the point. If self regulation was possible, it would have already happened. We are the audience, and utilizing the paid PR push is sensible. Just my thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Samantha - I can maybe believe there are types of trauma that lead to a delay or reluctance to report. What is much harder to believe is that those same forces would ever call for lingo like "releasing an accusation" and tying it to some pop culture event like a movie release. The former may be a victim. The latter sounds like someone playing a game.

    ReplyDelete
  73. It's not inconceivable that the "slew" of accusations is to come from multiple accusers having compared notes and perhaps even found consolation in their shared experiences with the actor in question. And hypothetically, waiting to publicly present their claims until the hype for the new film starring said A++ actor could allow for maximum exposure of said accusations. Not knowing the details makes a lot of scenarios possible from speculation's point of view. If the actor is that high up, it stands to reason he has significant influence and/or resources to repel or bury isolated accusations that we commoners would have to answer to.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Dustin Hoffman. He has a movie called "Into the Labyrinth" being released in Italy in October.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Honestly, I have no problem with accusations being released around the film, if that's what it takes to get exposure. What I do think is ridiculous is expecting us to believe that these slew of accusers, who have all gotten together and are planning an airtight case are here leaking it to a gossip website months in advance so that the actor can have a head start on using his resources to bury accusations.

When is the last time enty has actually accurately predicted this type of thing? He didn't predict when Ryan Adams was going to go down. He didn't predict when Max Landis or Bryan Singer were going to go down. He DID predict that Ian McKlellan and Hugh Jackman were totes going to get accused of something, which never happened. He ran a similar blind in Feb and everyone guessed De Niro or Hanks- nothing happened.

The traffic's running low again. Odd that.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Dustin Hoffman has already been amply accused by many different people and is not A++ list. That saga is over.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I just noticed that Morgan Freeman has a movie coming out soon...

    ReplyDelete
  78. Charles Laughton, you cad!

    ReplyDelete
  79. @mooshki-- you beat me to it. I was gonna throw out Morgan Freeman just to be different. For anyone losing their s**t over Hanks name getting thrown out there, after skimming a list of upcoming releases on IMDb, I found plenty of other possible contenders for this blind that seem much more probable-- John Travolta, Sylvester Stallone, Woody Harrelson, Bill Murray, Dennis Quaid, Robert Downey Jr. (oh the internet would probably implode over that one!), Jim Carrey and Dan Aykroyd
