Nene's chutzpah has outpaced her importance this time. There's no question that she's one of the Housewife Queens, but it's all become too diluted and over-played to be making that level of demands.
Housewives like Nene get three checks, in part to sidestep their agents. They get their performance fee, a costuming fee for wardrobe and glam and the hottest accessories and other lifestyle visuals, and a rental fee to use their home and car as a location. Some even get a check for family inconvenience that they can dole out to moms, maids and nannys etc. Atlanta needs a younger demo and is oushing Porche. Shes funny and the demo loves her. Nene is going to be the next Vicky, becoming a friend of, and making room for the next chapter of these hugely profitable shows.
