Blind Item #10

The former A list teen star is going to start asking you for money for a campaign to get a reboot made. How much do you think will go in his pocket versus the reboot campaign? Do not ever give him money.

  8. A lot of the fund website things sound like scams. People even get their cause to go viral and then the rest o the story comes out.

Celebs need to stop re-tweeting some of those things...They are too trusting.

Not to mention...most people are broke. Don't make million$ a year (or per project) and then ask your followers for money. That's annoying.

  9. Feldman. Never understood why he was so big in the 80s.

  10. I would love to see a Burbs 2. RIP Rick Ducommun and Henry Gibson tho.
Does anyone know what the painting is supposed to be when they keep trying to turn it upside down?
And why do the bones in the trunk move???
A sequel needs to happen to address these questions.

    1. The painting is of a surgery in an operating room, kind of from the patient’s view. Trio of overhead lights, masked surgeons. When Gibson has it upright. Rumsfield turns it upside down.

I don’t have an answer for the bones moving, except I always took it as an emphasized moment. Like when they find the femur bone and the camera zooms in and out as they scream. Makes sense in that context as the whole movie is silly all the way around.

One of my all time favorite stupid movies. Love The Burbs.

  12. Jami Gertz (Lost Boys costar) has more money that god and could remake the movie 12 times over with just the change in her pocket. I wonder if Feldman has tried to hit her up for a loan?

  13. I finally saw Lost Boys for the first time over Easter weekend. To me, that movie is all about Corey Haim. It would be kind of sad to reboot that one without him. However, I could see a reboot with him and his friend being adult vampire busters.

As someone mentioned earlier, plenty of legit funding routes to try with a legit project before needing to hit up fans.

  14. Very true about Jami Gertz. Bitch married a hedge fund manager/billionaire doesn't need Hollywood bullshit anymore though.

  15. Really Tierney? Didn't know that. Family money?

  16. Gertz has no small nest-egg on her own, but yes, she also married well. Her Wiki has some fascinating details. She was also a scent designer for Lanvin in Paris. She and her husband also do a lot to give back, from starting a school to giving to charities.

  17. Just googled her and ,wow, she certainly does look hot, Eponymous!
I know there may be work done, but if there is it's well done and on a solid base. Shes now my favourite wank bank billionaire, fuck off JK Rowling!

  18. @Vita, I agree, that film was about Corey Haim, and his brother Jason Patric. Feldman, we could do without. It was also more about Star (Jamie Gertz) and even Keifer Sutherland. I nearly sent to Feldman's gofundme, I believed he was sincere about exposing the pedophiles.

  19. How do some women not only meet billionaires but marry them? Apart from the closet freaks and pedo-enablers, that is.

I saw Jami Gertz years ago in a restaurant, no makeup, in shorts and casual top, quietly dining with who I think must've been a husband. Don't know when she married, though.

She seemed nice enough? Not trying to say "I'm here world! But go away!" or any of the usual celeb schtick.
