This top drug company couldn't get approval for a second trimester abortion pill in the US, but is selling them as fast as they can make them in India and China.
Well what’s the drug? I only ID’d ethacridine lactate, trade name Abortil in India, but that is being manufactured by Troikaa, which appears to be an Indian owned company.
Originator of RU486 was Hoescht roussel (roussel-uclaf)...a swiss company with fingers in other parts of europe
Mifepristone is now marketed in US and EU by two "single drug" companies...exelgyn and Danco...so that they are boycott proof. Supposedly Danco's pills are made in china but exelgyn leadership ties directly back to roussel.
Neither company, nor any others who have published articles reference a second trimester "pill" but scientific journals point to a combo of misoprostol (cervical ripening prostaglandin) and mifepristone (RU-486 progesterone blocker) as the likely method
about 80% of abortions in China are done using pills, as "medical abortion" (vs surgical abortion and Reportedly - chinese women and girls are "forced" to get "abortions" as late as 8 months

Hunter, really? With the medicine available today, second semester abortions are babies that can be saved. Yes, some have problems but many of them go on to be healthy with no problems. Plus that is a LOT of trauma for the mother.
The 'one child' policy was abolished a while ago in China, so this is straight-up female infanticide.

As it stands NOW, there is such a gender imbalance in China that women are trafficked as forced wives from other neighboring countries. Even women within China, already married or not, are stolen and sold as wives to other men.
There are multiple documentaries about wife trafficking online, if anyone is in disbelief or unaware of that.
To continue doing this - killing off the girl babies? Is insanity.
And why is it the population control is aimed squarely at babies who are Asian or 'brown?' But the people who sell pills, will stop at nothing ALLEGEDLY, to profit.
Don't think very premature babies should be saved. Know of a young couple who mortgaged everything and spent thousands......when the insurance ran out the baby died. The couple divorced. Have worked in a VA teaching hospital with residents from a local university...people were saved for practice....even if they were in unbearable pain and had no future. America is kinder to their animals than people.

I'm all for a woman's right to chose. But if you can't figure out you're pregnant and don't want the baby after the first trimester, please just have the baby and gift it to someone who wants it. I've known so many couples who have wanted to adopt!
