At first, the whole thing seemed accidental. Coincidental. Yes, it was a death. A possible murder? It didn't look like it at the time. It looked like an accident. Yes, it was a victim who had a lot of information about an A list actor. Some information she had shared, but the vast majority she had not. Victims came to her all the time to share their stories. She was the point person. Originally the suspect was very cooperative with police. No issues at all. He provided a driver's license and answered questions. What no one is saying is that no followup interview has ever been done. The license was a real name, but someone who died decades ago. The address was not where the suspect lived. No one has been able to find the person to speak to them. They just vanished. Does that change the working theory of accident to something more? No one even knows who to charge or who to investigate. No fingerprints. Literally nothing. They played it perfectly.
Misty Upton/Sean Penn?
ReplyDeleteSpacey accuser, I think.

The broad shot in her car? Publicist?
ReplyDeleteRonnie Chasen..good guess Count!

ReplyDeleteLinda Culkin makes more sense. She was in a car wreck and the driver stayed on the scene, but wasn't charged. Which makes sense why the blind would site the driver's license as well as the bit about the victims.

Wow.. after reading your link, I agree..
DeleteOk, E and Thia-- you've sold me on Linda Culkin...it seems to fit the blind perfectly! Wow. Coincidence or perfectly planned hit, indeed!😳
ReplyDeletelots of good guesses
ReplyDeleteWell, if the cops couldn't even find fingerprints in the car, that sounds like a hit to me. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteRonnie Chasen's death was always highly suspicious. The Beverly Hills PD never even made much effort to cover it up.
ReplyDeleteCLOSETED
ReplyDeleteWhere she was hit is a busy area near where she lived; if you were looking to mow someone down and make it look like an accident it would not be difficult to do so
ReplyDeleteFrom what I’ve googled the woman was absolutely batshit. The kind that walks into traffic.

I mentioned this a while back. Very easy to make this look like an accident. So convenient for Spacey that she is dead. So convenient for others that Kappy is dead. But crazy people do things like this all the time. And yes, they were. And they were very disagreeable people, even criminal. It doesn't mean they were wrong. The message may be for others as well.
ReplyDeleteLinda Culkin would be my guess too.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the connection between Upton and Penn???
ReplyDeleteHow can a suspect provide a license with the name of someone who’s dead? Wouldn’t they run the license right then and find that out?
ReplyDeleteForget it, Notagood, it's Massachusetts
ReplyDeleteMisty Upham deserved oscar nom for 'Frozen River'
ReplyDeletethe 5 nominees that year

I think its Culkin/Spacey after reading the link that Thia posted.
ReplyDeleteDid Sean Penn and Misty Upham even know each other when she was alive?
And @Thia is right. The driver did not leave the scene but was not charged. It's not the kind of road you just cross at random points; people drive at least 15-20 mph over the speed limit so it could have easily looked like an accident. No one who lived in the area like she did would take that kind of chance. Very sketchy
ReplyDeleteHonestly, if Culkin was the accuser, Spacey would be better off with her alive and batshit, making the testimony against him look more discredited with every word. She had quite the history.
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE a deep dive on Ronni Chasen. Could be a great subject for the Jen & Enty true crime episodes.
ReplyDeleteFacts/Truth can be much stranger than Fiction. As a Police Officer who has generated hundreds of Traffic Crash Reports (They aren’t called Accident Reports) I know how odd it all can be. A busy Pedestrian, Vehicle, Bicycle area can produce odd incidents. But only in Fiction can a Vehicle appear (in a congested area) with out notice to any others present - and mow down a pedestrian. As for the Driver and his License, well sometimes Numbers on a D/L get placed on a Crash Report in the wrong order. Without seeing a Report, or a Death Investigation Report, all these comments (in my Professional Opinion) don’t really say much about what really happened.
