The judge in the case of the disgraced actor is fully on board with pressuring the victim with one ruling after the other. Who wants to bet the latest ruling which is going to be a huge invasion of privacy gets those charges dropped.
Kevin Spacey

Spacey could rape _____ _____ on the _____ _____ lawn and they'd still find a way for him to beat the charges. It pays to be a member of the pedo club.
ReplyDeleteIf the prosecution is hinging on texts or sexts, how is subpoenaeing the phone contents out of line?
ReplyDeleteWhy does it seem like the only thing Enty likes more than big stars getting in deep legal trouble is gleefully saying how they'll get off with less than a slap on the wrist? It's... icky.
ReplyDeleteIt's not out of line.
ReplyDeleteThis is yet another ridiculous example of gossip justice not lining up with due process (a/k/a actual justice). There is a procedure that we have in the civilized world called a trial in which the accused, the ALLEGED perpetrator, has the opportunity to confront the witnesses against him and conduct discovery of their credibility. Here in gossip land, he's already convicted and the accuser is the "victim."
And once again, I find myself having to stand up for a guy a really don't like or think is all that talented because what's worse is the social justice mob screeching for blood and vengeance. Disgusting.
@Tierney, Ever heard of Jussie Smollett?
ReplyDeleteStrange Amartel, haven't seen you standing up for Weinstein too. Guess we'll be seeing you defending him in future blinds as well? Or is it only the accused with underage victims that you go to bat for? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not some SJW wanting to hang Spacey by the balls - no. I'd like some standard criminal justice procedure, that's all. I get that stars are often able to extricate themselves from legal tangles using money, fame, connection, whatever. That all sucks, but it's not the issue I'm writing about. I understand Enty being giddy when alleged molesters (which he himself often has evidence to prove) get in trouble - that makes sense. What's off-putting and confusing is the glee I also sense, like with Weinstein, Spacey, Polanski, Smollett, etc., when these people skirt accountability. He seems almost happy about it. Like "whee! the kid-diddler beat the wrap!". I don't get it, and it feels increasingly gross to see him write this shit.
ReplyDeleteEnty cares about one thing only.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's not justice.
Ahhh, The Bohemian Club comes through. Fuckers.
ReplyDelete@Amartel I agree 100%. Kevin Spacey may very well be the scum of the Earth and the lowest down pedo boy molester on in the world but he's entitled to a fair trial and entitled to try every legal maneuver he can to get himself off. I can't stand Kevin Spacey and could not stand him before he was exposed. I hate having to constantly remind people that he cannot be drawn and quartered in the public square...at least not for feeling up a willing young man in a bar.

ReplyDeleteThose of you saying Kevin Spacey deserves a fair trial, Michael Jackson got his fair trial. What's the difference?
