Blind Items Revealed #4

May 31, 2019

This permanent A+ list singer is slowly gaining all that surgically removed weight and is blaming others for gaining the weight. She says they are substituting what she perceives to be low calorie wine with higher calorie wine and fired at least one person.

  1. Funny how people forgot about that accusation of sexual harassment against her, isn't it?

    1. Low calorie whine for her.

    2. There is but it tastes utterly awful. She probably tried it once and demanded better a tasting one but as there aren’t many varieties available her assistants probably just have her regular calorie fuelled wine

    3. @sandy: The lower the alcohol, the fewer the calories. In theory, you could do a 20% wine spritzer instead of champagne for something like a 100 cal/glass reduction. But Americans tend not to do that.

  3. It sucks when your metabolism doesn't want to play along

  4. Sandy - yessss, but only if you count "100 cal" to be lower than "120 cal" which...

She's still going to drink 13 of them sooo....

A friend of mine got the belly band and lost over 150 lbs (she had become over twice our size, we were originally samesies) anyway - now her belly is like a giant deflated balloon (she looks great in a dress though) and her face looks like herself again.

Regardless, having been over 300+ lbs, I truly believe those starved little 150+ lbs of fat cells scream and cry and whine every day. My friend can now gain TWENTY POUNDS IN A WEEK if she is not careful, her body just stores it so fast.

Fucked up. Try not to destroy the one body you are given. My friend basically swung the pendulum from college anorexia to employed obesity and chronic overeating, absolutely addictive behavior but it destroyed her original body. Her sister and mother are not oversized.

    Sad.

    1. Shit, this sounds like party days when you’re skinny and hot. Late nights couple with drunken food cravings = fat and bloated when you later have a kid and work. That weight does not come off like it did for the girl that got pregnant in high school.

  5. After you have gastric surgery you’re not supposed to drink alcohol & coffee for the rest of your life....

    1. And yet, nearly everyone does anyway.

  6. She would do better to go off wine onto the unpalatable-yet-effective vodka/soda combo like all the NYC girls.

Tastes like shit but is the lowest possible caloric option for alcohol intake.

WAIT WAIT what about that powdered alcohol?? Have y'all heard? This IS a thing that exists now (sounds incredibly dangerous in the wrong hands).

I don't know much about it, but I just imagine people snorting it and don't know what happens after that.

  7. @notthisagain -

Well yeah that's for normal people, lol - she's an alcoholic so that doesn't apply to her.

Also my friend told me she read about people who got the surgery (she REALLY followed her plan because she's psycho) who drank calories via chocolate shakes/alcohol/coca-cola, etc. Liquid calories essentially.

My pal went diet-psycho (as is her wont) and lost it all very quickly with the band and the restrictive/weighed eating but now... the maintenance... it's a lifelong chore and now she wants to get pregnant.

  8. *** and those people didn't lose the weight and/or gained it all back, obvs

  9. For the record powdered alcohol as a substance is intended for inclusion into mixed beverages, possibly without the taste profile of a dominant liquor.

It is not intended for snorting.

  10. Vodka is always the best bet!

  11. I honestly don’t understand people who go through the trouble of gastric surgery but then don’t stick with the program. I have a friend from HS who was always overweight; she had lap band surgery around 5 yrs. ago & lost 100 lbs. Hasn’t gained any of it back, but she still eats crap. She doesn’t eat a lot, but everything she chooses is very creamy and fattening. I think since she’s thin now, she perceives herself as ‘healthy’, but she’s basically on a heart attack diet.

  12. I'd drink the whole bottle so I guess it's not low calorie for me and she goes a half case at a time.

  13. They make diet wine. It's called water.
