This A- list mostly television actress who stars on a very hit long running network comedy has also been A- list in movies. Apparently she is hanging on by a thread these days with pressure and stress and all the calls for comment which is one of the reasons she pulled her podcast.
Anna Faris

Anna Faris
She needs the well known cure for female hysteria, my tongue on her undercarriage.
ReplyDeleteWell that's people staring at me now for snorting with laughter on this bus at that Count.😆
ReplyDeleteGet a room, you two.
ReplyDeleteLow Key trying to be the meat in a Count/Vic sammich
DeleteShe must have fallen apart after watching them say I do in person huh Enty?
ReplyDeleteMy life is so empty without her podcast.
ReplyDeleteCan’t say I blame her. It’s like Pratt had a full brain transplant after landing the Starlord role.
ReplyDelete@J how and where do u get it from? I'm a virgin to how podcasting works! Sorry, dont laugh at me!
ReplyDelete@diva she hasn't done one since before Christmas it's called Anna Faris Is Unqualified and is on SoundCloud.
ReplyDeleteI think you can get it at YouTube too.
ReplyDeleteAlistDiva. I went almost overnight to having podcasts as my main form of relaxation. Just so many and so easy to get.
ReplyDeleteEasy way to get them is download a free podcast or radio app like TuneIn, Stitcher etc.
Here's the link to Anna Faris' podcasts, which isn't one I've ever listened to
https://www.google.com/podcasts?feed=aHR0cHM6Ly9hbm5hZmFyaXNpc3VucXVhbGlmaWVkLmxpYnN5bi5jb20vcnNz
lol, Diva, I don't really understand the method of "podcasting."
ReplyDeleteBut I do listen to some online things by just using the web interface on my phone. I __think__ podcasting involves downloading shows, etc... too much work.
And I was kidding about Anna Faris' series. It hasn't occurred to me to check that out.
She got with him when she was the bigger name, a hottie movie actress. Then he got on a tv show, then lost weight, became a hottie movie actor and started screwing around on her, I think she got really hurt by him, then he got married again so soon.
ReplyDeleteVIC I also do podcasts and radio for the most part. I don't like to WATCH much at all. For one, I know that the process of watching TV etc is brain damaging. Watching takes you straight to reptile brain, which is not good. We all have one, but that's not where we need to live unless we are in fight flight scenarios. There was a NOVA about this years ago, re: advertisers KNOWING this and using it against the "CONSUMERS/USERS"
ReplyDeleteIt's been proven scientifically that LISTENING to anything, music, books, stupid interviews, stimulates brain activity, whereas watching something puts you in a passive state. I had to write grants about this stuff many years ago when it was "discovered" that exposure to JAZZ made you more likely to succeed in higher mathematics. For real. I knew a guy that was part of a study... I could go on but suffice to say I DON'T like to WATCH. I would love to listen to some crazy talk with Vic and the Count. I would probably piss my pants laughing.
@momo did the studies compare either one to reading or was it only based on passive consumption?
Delete@j @sandybrook thank u! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to download them J.
ReplyDeleteYou can if you are not going to have wifi where ever you are. But if you have a signal then just stream them. Click, listen, forget it and that's it.
I was like you a little skeptical at first but became addicted.
Shows like Last Podcast on the Left, Astonishing Legends, Joe Rogan - fast becoming one of the most influential things in broadcast media, Adam Carolla, Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, True Crime Garage, Hollywood Crime Scene, The Black Vault, Our Fake History, AJ Benza's Fame is a Bitch...etc.
You can see a true Crime/ high woo/ history bias in my taste, but there literally tens of thousands catering for every known subject. A lot of them are utter shite but there's also so much gold out there too and pretty easy to find.
Honestly, now without podcasts to keep me sane, I don't know how I'd get through shiftwork in a plastics factory.
Oh, I forgot, of course Enty has a podcast too.
ReplyDeleteAnd it might be the dog's bollocks for all I know (that's British for a 'really good thing') or it might stink worse than Bigfoots dick, I don't know because I only listen to free ones and Enty charges.
Diva, on your smart phone go to play store, search podcast app, choose a free one to download. Then search out topics you're interested in to customize, and just hit the subscribe button. It's easy once you try it. Then it's just hitting a few buttons for listening. Enty has a podcast through patreon which you would probably like. It is behind a pay wall though (small fee).
ReplyDeleteAnna Faris lost all sympathy points from me. She cheated on her first husband Ben with Chris Pratt, so it was only karma that Pratt would cheat on her with Weinstein's dirty little secret JLaw. Which technically means she could have all of JLaw's/Weinstein's STIs b/c Chris is not known to wrap it. Anna might as well have helped her career and f*cked Weinstein directly.
ReplyDeleteEskimo sisters with most of SoCal then by the sound of it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm hooked on lectures from various sources and listen to them to-and-from work every day. But I stream them online, which I don't think is what podcasting always means. But technology is converging so much, and bandwidth is getting cheaper, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnother podcast fan here. If you have Bluetooth in your car system you can listen to them on your commute to work
ReplyDeleteI like Enty's; plus also a big fan of AJ Benza (he has both a Patreon and a free one on PodcastOne). There are so many if you go to a site that hosts them (like PodcastOne) you can def find something you'll like
If we are pimping podcasts here, like Vic, i enjoy Rogan and Benza. If anyone tries Rogan, check out the Joey Diaz episodes and his podcast Church of Whats Happening Now. Also Hot Boxin w/ Mike Tyson. His Steve O episode has some good stories.
ReplyDeleteFans of 70s, 60s and earlier TV and Film should check out Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast. He talks to everone from Alan Alda to Max Baer to Boris Karloff's daughter. His interview of Kate Hudson's uncle was great.
I doubt she cares, @J. She doesn't make them for you.
ReplyDeleteawww feel bad for here.. i wonder If we can get together and talk things through over coffee and consensual sodomy
ReplyDelete@Splatford.
ReplyDeleteI was with you until "consensual".
Hann they won't let me write your name so suffice ... NO we did not see studies that compared brain activity while reading to listening, but I think it had long been established that reading stimulated higher brain function. I don't have a copy of what I wrote about it around because it was in the 90s, and I didn't really think about it again until I saw the NOVA in 2004 or so. What I was writing was for a university that wanted to keep music in grammar schools in New Orleans. They were getting rid of art programs in public schools in the neighborhood, and they were trying to justify funding for art and music. Sadly, only out of town foundations like GETTY and ANNENBERG gave money to these programs, but at least someone cared. My children were very fortunate to go to the best public school in town because I moved to the neighborhood to make sure of it. Now the same place is a fucking nightmare of social engineering. It matters who the parents are.

FWIW I was a professional writer for more than 10 years, and I couldn't have written a thing if I had been in a quiet room. I wrote for two years to a loop of Radiohead In Rainbows. But that's just me.
I became addicted to Podcasts, 3 years ago while rehabbing/redoing the inside of my Aunt’s house, that I inherited. Scraped the popcorn ceilings, taped/repaired the walls (my favorite part), painted, refinished floors, etc.
ReplyDeletePodcasts were an excellent way to pass the time, without having to stop what I was doing. I started with “Serial” (The Gold Standard IMO)
and when I finished it, searched around on the App Store. You literally can find Podcasts on anything that interests you.
I have a confession to make, I haven't watched TV or movies in well over a decade.
ReplyDeleteHeather McDonald's Juicy Scoop is a good one for people who like celebrity gossip. It's a little too heavy on Real Housewives stuff, but easy enough to skip over those sections. For Drag Race fans, Race Chaser with Alaska and Willam is great. Chris Hardwick's Id10T is pretty good too, long format interviews with mostly actors and musicians.
ReplyDeleteJust FYI: I heard that Anna is the one to end the marriage since she was unhappy. Chris cheated but Anna had told him before he had that she wanted a divorce. He hung around for the kid (even though DON'T CHEAT PEOPLE).
ReplyDeleteI think Anna was trying to find a way to be happy and has. If this blind's about her, then I'm calling it a BS blind.
Did you see her Instagram feed full of barbies?
