Speaking of reporters asking difficult questions, that is the reason this foreign born alliterate A- list mostly television actor isn't returning for the final season of his hit pay cable show. He doesn't want to discuss what happened with that former co-star.

I LOVE JJ.
ReplyDeleteSo, I wonder what DID transpire?
ReplyDeleteThis was on twitter last year and it had nothing to do with Joshua Jackson or Dominic West

She left over pay not because Pacey ended the brief affair and wanted her off the show.
ReplyDeletesooo it looks like the final season will be a lot of clips over past seasons with the full cast. kind of like when who shot J.R. turned out to be a dream. too bad the plot lines became so convoluted it was a great show.
ReplyDeleteIt was Bobby's death that turned out to be a dream. Kristen shot J.R.
DeleteThey didn't have an affair. Ruth shut that down in an interview. It was Josh who was originally leaving the show. He was leaving after season 3 because he only had signed on for three seasons. His IG alluded to that.
ReplyDeleteIt seems every Showtime original show and a lot of HBO's start off pretty good and start rollong off the rails around season 3 or 4.
ReplyDelete@sandybrook absolutely! It is amazing how such good shows go to crap around season 5. They can do 4 seasons just not 5! It is quite baffling. You would think they would have mastered the characters by then not obliterate them. lol
ReplyDeleteBillions wasnt up to par this season, maybe next one. it looked like it could be as currently set up.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that Ruth Wilson left because a make-up artist on the show, who is her friend, was harassed or abused by someone associated with the show. The article did not say if the person what in front of the camera, behind the camera or associated with production, but Ruth was angry that the show did nothing to sanction this person.

DeleteBillions dropped the ball as soon as Axe and Chuck stopped being antagonistic, but they seems to be course correcting for the next season! I just hope they dont go the route of Wendy and Axe affair. Axe and Chuck should hate each other coz they just do, no reason needed! Also, I hope the next season is the last one! Let them get down and dirty as never before!
ReplyDeletei hated that show and everyone in it. joshua jackson's character was the only halfway decent one---they were all repugnant, selfish assholes. unpleasant and miserable as well. why am i going to watch that??
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't want to talk about her being paid crap.
ReplyDeleteHow is this even a blind when it doesn't get at whatever it is talking about? JJ left the show bc of drama that he doesn't want to talk about? Whatever
ReplyDeleteMeh, I think the truth of this is way less exciting.
ReplyDeleteOmar Metwally - the utter highlight of this show. Dreamy AF.
