I know we like to think of the early rise of the journalist turned writer/director as unique, but it wasn't. Who am I talking about? The famed publisher, of course. He had a longstanding practice of hiring high school-aged teens of one sex rather than the other. He liked to invite them back to his lavish apartment where they'd be given booze and drugs, then required to partake of a certain game. You can imagine what happened next.
Graydon Carter?
ReplyDeleteHearst?
ReplyDeleteYeah that ties in the other blind.
DeleteBob Guccione? (Penthouse/Caligula)
ReplyDeleteCameron Crowe & Jann Wenner from Rolling Stone?

DeleteThere you go. Go job, Dena.
DeleteJan Wenner is the epitome of a POS.
+1 Dena
ReplyDeleteThe fact he lives in an apt, is probably someone NYC based +1 Dena
ReplyDeleteIt's Macolm Forbes. The guy was legendary in this regard.
ReplyDeleteCameron Crowe, Rolling stone dude.
ReplyDeleteCameron Crowe was married to the legendary and beautiful Nancy Wilson. Are you saying he's gay or bi? Was this a lavender marriage? Is Nancy a lez? My head is spinning.
ReplyDeleteThis blind is very obviously about Cameron Crowe and Jann Wenner. Wenner is notoriously gay, and Crowe started out as a journalist at Rolling Stone when he was 16.
ReplyDeleteI guess that somebody is jealous of Crowe (and hasn't seen the long string of flops he's had for a decade) and attributes all of his career to a night on the casting couch. Yet, all of Jann Wenner's supposed high school-aged male lovers didn't get that much of a career, did they?
@Jon.
ReplyDeleteNancy Wilson is in her mid sixties and still hotter than an August in Death Valley.

Totally.
DeleteJann Wenner was married for some time before he decided he was gay.
ReplyDeleteSo what's the "certain game"? Spin the bottle? Naked Twister?
ReplyDeleteIt isn’t Forbes. He was legendarily debauched but wasn’t into teenagers. That reputation belongs to Jann Wenner and his staff at RS.
