Blind Item #7

This former A- list television actress from back in the day on a hit network show is probably B list now and that is only because of a new show she is on. for quite some time she had stopped using coke in favor of crack because she didn't have much money left. The coke is back though. She thinks it is classier.

  2. To be fair, coke is classier than crack.

  4. She's not wrong. Pretty much anything is classier than crack.

  7. Depends on whether you buy the crack or make it from coke yourself...
anyone who "smokes" their coke is smoking crack cocaine...it's just not cut for the street.

should never buy crack off the street - or coke off the street
but smoking coke is no worse than snorting it and gives a better high...just sayin'

  8. @Meliticus: we loaded our cigarettes with coke. Called em kangarettes. Much better buzz than snorting.
    Or so I've heard.

  9. @Meliticus, I think you're confusing freebasing with crack.

  10. @Brayson it is basically the same damn thing. A few more chemicals in crack thus why it is cheaper.

  11. "Crack is whack" clearly formed her judgments.

  12. @Mountain, I can't speak to consumption, but behavior wise crackheads will do a ton of sh!t that most cokeheads wouldn't even consider.

  13. I knew people who freebased in the early 80s. and that shit was NOT crack. They did it themselves and it was clean. When crack showed up on the scene in my port city it came in through the restaurants and bars. Literally like overnight. Everyone in the service industry had been doing coke, not freebasing, just snorting, and then SUDDENLY this stuff came in prepackaged, cooked down and CHEAP. It took a lot of good coke to freebase old style, and this crap came in 5 dollar chunks. Oh the crack came to our city at the same time as rap was suddenly blasting in all the stores. Then the crime tripled and I moved from downtown because crackheads were like zombies robbing anyone anytime anywhere to get their next hit. Not cool.

  15. Freebased cocaine is just that - cocaine base free of salt
you can get there with ether - the dangerous way which often results in setting oneself on fire ala Richard pryor
or you can get there by "cracking" the cocaine out of the salt with water and sodium bicarb...
end result is "cracked" cocaine base

for street crack - it is further mixed with paraffin or other junk

but pure crack is the same as cocaine base that is smoked

  19. The Hills wasn't network, but the only people I can think of with new show are Julianna Margulies, Christina Applegate, and Linda Cardelini and they hardly seems like a crackheads or hard up for cash.

  21. @Count, Expelled no, the ethnic and female chapters alone in those books would cause children to be sentenced to juvenile reeducation camps. Like the one about the foreign national who went to the airport with friends but was 5 cents short to buy a plane ticket home. He asked a stranger for change, the stranger said only 5 cents, here's a quarter take the rest of "your friends" with you.

Ironically the dead baby joke chapters would be more PC nowadays, they'd probably read them on the public school morning announcements. ;)

  24. A man is going for a healthy walk along a cliff path when he sees another man sitting on the edge of the cliff crying. Thinking the crying man might be suicidal he hurries over to talk the man out if any reckless action.

He asks the man what is wrong and the man replies, "I just saw a coach full of [insert ethnic group of choice] drive over the cliff!"

"But that's marvellous news!" says the walker, "Why are you crying?"

The crying man replies, "Because there was an empty seat at the back!"
