Blind Item #6

This former A list mostly movie actor has multiple Oscar wins/nominations. He also has been one of the most difficult to work with actors of all time which is why he has trouble getting work. It is rich that he called out an actor/former co-star for being difficult to work with. It is true, but still, he should look in the mirror first.

  1. Still disturbed by that story of Spacey molesting Dreyfuss's son while Dreyfuss was in the room. Supposedly he couldn't see it, but who knows.

  2. Wasn't Dreyfuss such a dick to everyone on a movie set years ago that one of his co stars tried to beat the shit out of him?

  3. Great guess MD
And I think we have a female Enty writing today.
    Just an observation.

  5. I liked Bill Murray so much, many years ago. Never liked Dreyfuss.

Now I'm ok with both of them going away.

As for looking into a mirror, I think most people written about here have that task totally covered.

  6. Too bad Dreyfuss didn't get eaten in the original Jaws movie.

  7. Bill Murray is a comic and all comics are mental cases. You just have to accept that they are screwed up or completely ignore them. They do not get better.

  8. Ugh, did you hear about that poor girl who got eaten by sharks in the Bahamas? So sad.

  9. Too bad, Dreyfuss is a highly entertaining actor, though he often reminds me of a Schnauzer.

  10. Aqua, that is just horrible. Very pretty girl college student at Loyola Marymount on vacation with her family. THREE sharks? JEEZ. How horrible for her family.

Yes was thinking about Jaws after that - watched some clip of fishermen off Jersey encountering a big one. SCARY

  13. Well, I just watched a video where a Dolphin tries to sexually assault a Shiela underwater! It was funny and terrifying at the same time!

  14. Who knew that “What About Bob?” was a docudrama based on a true story after all.

  15. l met Bill Murray once and he was rude, arrogant and a pig...He was dressed like a homeless man waiting to catch a flight..l at first saw him, smiled at him and as l did, he just gave me a stare of daggers and looked away..l was going to ask for an autograph but after l saw the way he acted and talked to other ppl around me, l decided l was not going to waste my time or interest on such an a##hole...lt is the fans that keep him working and he seems to think no one has a right to even look at him and l have never forgotten that and l can't stand watching him in any movies and the movie What about Bob ? was a good movie, but would have been better with another actor who had some chemistry with the other actors..So l say Bill over Richard Dreyfus

  16. Zilla3-- Schnauzer, lol!
    Hanniam- Lol!

Life's Lessons- Interesting tale! He has such extremes of hot and cold for a reputation, it's unbelievable! He's either sweet, generous and hilarious or absolutely cold jerk...I dont know that I've heard any stories on middle ground.

Just saw the clip of Dreyfuss talking about Murray being drunk one night (during what about bob? Shoot), and turning to him and screaming how no one can stand him, he's tolerated at best, etc, and then took a big crystal ashtray and hurled it at his face. It missed and dreyfuss left.

Definitely sounds like a volatile drunk.

  17. Vita - Perhaps Bill was drunk at the airport !! lt was my husband who first pointed him out as he was in the line basically beside us and let me tell you, he was swearing and telling people off who tried talking to him but the look he gave to me when l turned to look at him and smiled, lt was then l realized how he was talking to other people as though we had no right to be close to him, and swearing at people , but he definately did not have his hair combed and his clothes were all wrinkled and not tucked in all the way around with dirty pants on..l just can't stand watching him on TV and see some of the movies and turn them off because all l think about is how rude and arrogant he was that day...Well, l am glad to know that someone stood up to him and too bad Dreyfuss did not have hime charged for throwing the ashtray..

  18. I think it was Robert Shaw who did or threatened to beat up Dreyfus on the set of Jaws.

  20. Ask Bill Murray why his friend Wes Anderson signed the Polanski petition

    That will shut him up

  23. Saw Richard Dreyfuss at Disney World about 30 or so years ago. He was very nice to me when I told him hello which surprised me because I had already read that he was a prick.

  24. Murray went full on Hunter after Where The Buffalo Roam

  25. Never ever warmed to Dreyfuss. There is something incredibly unlikable and deviant about him. Even as a kid, he made me uncomfortable.

  26. Like anyone at this point F'ing CARES? Though compared to the losers we have today, those two were actual STARS.
