This disgraced actor who used to be A list and an Oscar winner/nominee is about to get charges dropped in one of his cases. Prosecutors previously had been prepared to make sure he served no jail time until their plot was discovered. Now, the judge is leaning towards dismissing the whole thing.
Spacey
ReplyDeleteJailing A listers is more difficult than herding cats. It's time to reconsider the 'nuke Hollywood' option. I doubt we'll snuff anyone innocent.
ReplyDeleteSpacey.
ReplyDeleteIf you look at charges, actual prosecution and sentencing, your best bet if you're charged with any crime might be to pretend that you're a pedo/sexual assaulter. It's like the original good ole boy system. Slap on the wrists or cases dismissed way too often. But don't you dare have any crack in your pocket boy they'll lock you away.
ReplyDeleteBecause no $$$'s were involved with the judge *cough*. This is how Trump came out of bankruptcy.
ReplyDeleteI find this confusing - can someone translate for me?
ReplyDelete"until their plot was discovered" what does that mean? Whose plot? Spacey's or the Prosecutors? Why would they drop the case upon discovering this "plot"?
Agree it's Spacey but am super confused as to what is specifically being implied.
I just love it when "readers" comment just so they can slam Trump.
ReplyDeleteIt makes them feel better I guess.
@Hunter: I agree—very confusing blind. The last blind about this case was that Spacey was going to release the victim’s name. But I don’t consider that ‘a plot’ unless there were further steps planned after that to discredit the witness. There’s also the whole issue of him drinking illegally in the bar, and they knew he was underage since he worked there. Apparently he drank a lot in a short period of time & blacked out at some point that evening.
ReplyDeleteI was just watching our noon news and KS is on Nantucket in court. His defense lawyer is alleging that Heather Unruh went through her son's phone and deleted all "frat boy" type material.
ReplyDeleteThere goes the case out the window
Well if this was a bullshit case it should be dismissed. We're not entitled to a scalp just because we strongly suspect the guy's a dirtbag.
ReplyDeleteSpacey the rich keep doing the same thing
ReplyDelete"But I don’t consider that ‘a plot’ unless there were further steps planned after that to discredit the witness. There’s also the whole issue of him drinking illegally in the bar, and they knew he was underage since he worked there"
ReplyDeleteYou are getting your victims mixed up. The one he wanted to name is the one is Los Angeles, not the Nantucket victim.
"Well if this was a bullshit case it should be dismissed. We're not entitled to a scalp just because we strongly suspect the guy's a dirtbag."
Strongly suspect? Everyone knows the truth about him. Except you, apparently.
He's a dirtbag, multiple victims have come out saying he made advances on them when they were minors. You'd have thought his pedo friends would have suicided him by now, you know he'd snitch to save himself if his number ever came up.
ReplyDeleteToo bad. Was hoping Spacey would be a blushing bride in prison. Guess he borrowed from Weinsteins bribery book.
ReplyDeleteEnty, is anyone in either tv or movie business not a sick perverted monster?
ReplyDeleteHunter and Aquagirl-- Im confused, as well...reading it, it seems like the Prosecutors had the plot, which totally makes no sense.
ReplyDeleteBut, then, which legal cases that we've followed on here have made sense?
For those who are confused about the blind, it sounds like the Prosecutors were worried about their case and hoping to bluff their way into a guilty plea but still allow Spacey to avoid jail time. However, since the prosecutors had to admit that there is no surveillance video, their case hinges on the victim's testimony. If the judge doesn't think there's enough evidence, he can grant the Defense's motion for a dismissal.
ReplyDeleteThe Frat boy stuff is not legally relevant, because it has nothing to do with Spacey or the issue of consent. But it is a way to "impeach" the witness, make the victim look bad & undermine his credibility.
Thanks, BayAreaGirl! Your professional input is always much appreciated!😁
ReplyDeleteBut, even is you are a trump supporter, why?
ReplyDeleteIt makes no sense. What do you like about him anyway?
If it's about race, immigrants, etc. please don't comment.
Just why?
Rabbit, he's probably a troll paid to do this. There would be no other reason for anyone to defend him, unless they're a real jerk, stupid, or paid.
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt Kevin Spacey is guilty and he should go to prison. But it's interesting how his male victims are believed without question by those who frequently accuse female rape victims of lying..
ReplyDelete50% of the country voted for Trump and will vote for him again. Think about that before you make snide comments. Honestly, that BS is what got him voted in, in the first place. Keep it up and enjoy him for another 4 years. People in flyover country are getting sick and tired of being told what to think by coastal elitists and the constant put downs. I used to be one of those elitists. Then I got wise.
ReplyDeletehow about Franco to be different?
