Me too .. this poor woman. Like .. are they just trying to keep her in the limelight so she can make a comeback? PLEASE Let her be and just let her live her life .. cause maybe she can't .. without someone looking after her. Kevin supposedly has the kids.
We'll never know, which is so sad. She's already been discredited for being crazy. No one will believe her "ramblings" about being controlled or used. Poor girl
@squirrelmistress, You're helping to train future AIs, robots, and self driving cars to recognize traffic lights, street signs and store fronts. Nobody actually cares about security. They just want to make sure your new car doesn't run a red and then drive through the front of a 7-11 to park next to the slurpee machine.
I have two friends who have shown themselves to be divorced from reality - one is my buddy the schizo with 12 voices and the other is my meth addict friend when he is on a binge.
It is obvious to me by what they write that they are experiencing an episode.
We don't need to see that from Britney. Look at the shit Sinead O'Connor posts - we don't need Britney's version of that.
If this is what "controlling" her looks like, I think maybe that's okay.
Hunter: you're always snarky as shit. Both Sinead and Britney have Dissociative Identity Disorder. You're an alcoholic (or so you said). Why don't you summon some empathy? Do you even know what DID is? Fuck you.
@Elphin, I thought the consensus was that Brit has borderline personality disorder with dissociative features thus the presentation of her "alters" at times - i.e. the British accent (which has consistently been with her even after the conservatorship was put into place), the weepy/crying alter, the stage version, the country accent version, and so on.
I feel badly for her. She's been ill for a long time and seems to never have gotten better, yet her sleazy handlers kept parading her around like a show pony to make as much money as they could. *tsk*
@Elphin: I’m not sure what comments you’re reading, but I’ve never considered @Hunter’s comments snarky. They are always well thought out and clearly expressed, and she is one of the most empathetic commenters here.
Britney is clearly not able to take care of herself, and I think that most of us here are just hoping that she will stop being forced to perform and somehow lead a more ‘normal’ life (whatever her ‘normal’ might be), out of the spotlight.
@Hunter: your buddy is "schizo?" I hope your "buddy" finds out you talk shit about her/him. You don't even have diagnoses & symptoms correct. You need to shut the fuck up.
@Elphin, what are your thoughts as to Brit possibly having borderline personality disorder with dissociative qualities? I've been watching old interviews with her, and there are a few where she seemingly dissociates on camera. One is the Diane Sawyer interview, but there is another from around the same time where the reporter mentions Britney's mom during the interview and it seems to send Brit into an unexpected tailspin and she ends up getting weepy on camera. It is hard to explain but Britney gets a certain look to her before she seemingly dissociates and emerges as a different persona. She narrows her eyes slightly, cocks her head to the side, gets REALLY quiet and just stares/zones out at the interviewer. It's unsettling and saddening at the same time.
My heart really goes out to Britney. She probably feels like she has NO ONE who values HER as a human being. Beneath the veneer is a very fragile child-like soul in need of compassion and advocacy...not pressure from managers to perform and generate revenue for THEM!
I used to think Brit was maybe just experiencing some post-partum depression and dabbling in drugs when she had her breakdown during the aughts - and I figured her shady handlers and cash-strapped parents were unfairly using an understandably tough time in Brit's life as means to manipulate the Courts into granting the predatory conservatorship she is under indefinitely....but now I am starting to question that and wonder if she perhaps actually is suffering from a debilitating mental health issue. If she is, it makes the fact that she has been forced out on stage like a show pony for the past 12 years EVEN MORE disturbing....
Britney
ReplyDeleteThese blinds just make me sad.
ReplyDelete"but they're not controlling her"...
ReplyDeletewhy do i have to match traffic lights to post?

ReplyDeleteBrit doesn't have life skills to lead a normal life.
ReplyDelete@squirrelmistress.
ReplyDeleteYou don't.
Just ignore the captcha bullshit and press 'publish'.
I think i saw a picture of her with her two boys during the graduation?

ReplyDeletePoor Britney, she needs to be on a ranch somewhere painting horses and feeding ducks.

Leave this young lady alone Britney is trying
ReplyDelete@hunter, Seems like most people are divorced from reality, it's more a matter of degree and how well they hide it. ;)
ReplyDeleteBritney and she is controlled as usual
ReplyDeleteNone of you commenting even have a clue. I can't wait until she triumphs. Have you ever heard of playing your cards close to your vest?

I don't give a fuck what you think I'm reading, "Aquagirl." Everyone who says "she can't live a normal life" is a snarky fucking cunt.
