Blind Item #2

After trashing/ignoring/appropriating an entire culture and then forgetting about them when it wasn't convenient any longer, this former A+ list tweener actress says it was all a misunderstanding and is trying to win them back.

  1. Personally I'm so grateful to be alive in the age of rappers.

  2. No artist who works in a genre where its performers sample other artists work all the time or simply lays down new lyrics and a slightly altered beat to a previously existing song has any right to bitch about "appropriation."

  3. To add, Miley simply criticized certain aspects of hardcore rap. She never "trashed an entire culture."

"I also love that new Kendrick [Lamar] song ["Humble"]: 'Show me somethin' natural like ass with some stretch marks.' I love that because it's not 'Come sit on my dick, suck on my cock.' I can't listen to that anymore," she told Billboard. "That's what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little. It was too much 'Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my cock'—I am so not that."

People change as they grow, and their tastes change. There is nothing wrong with anything she said.

    1. @DoTell thanks for the details. Honestly I can’t call that trashing a culture. If anything, it’s saying there’s some fantastic stuff but there’s also some seriously problematic misogyny being actively celebrated which she couldn’t ignore anymore.

People grow up and perceptions change too.

  4. Do Tell+1 My favourite was the rap version of "Angel of the Morning". Also,Miley is loaded that her Dad has a #1 song and she doesn't.

  10. Ha ha ha, joke is on all the native English speakers! I appropriated English language for my own purposes and became quite successful in my professional life! 2 generations before nobody in my family spoke English, but we appropriated it and now I m trying to appropriate Mandarin language too!

  11. Sandy, here in England, drunk is called being pissed. We call being pissed off = angry. Loaded usually means to be rich.

  13. Gang banging isn't a culture and assuming it's a black thing is super racist. Nice job, enty. You are definitely a liberal. LMAO

  18. Your computer, internet and electricity (amongst many other things) were created by Whites, @Gen-z99. What's your point? "Cultural Appropriation" is hypocritical bollocks. It should be called "we can use White peoples' stuff, don't use ours."

    ReplyDelete
  19. yeah except that all has nothing to do with cultural presentation, they're just inventions. "white" isn't a culture, Irish is a culture, British is a culture, etc but white is not a culture

    ReplyDelete
  20. hear hear Viking song.

If white people are so evil and racist, then why not fuck off somewhere where whites don't exist, live there and stay off from using white inventions, such as every medicine and vaccine known to man.

I don't see what Miley said that was supposedly racist or 'tasing'. Rap uses terms for women such as 'hoe, bitch', etc. rappers notoriously use women in videos degrading themselves, not to mention the racist aspect about asians, such as Vietnamese, Koreans or latino stereotypes in rap songs; even female black rappers call white women 'basic bitches' while black women supposedly are all goddesses.

it's the motherfucking hypocrisy that makes sensible people of all colours shake their heads and roll their eyes at this 'its racist and appropriation' bullshit

  21. Ariana licked donuts and said she hates Americans. Now she's trying to convince everyone she is sweet.

  22. cultural appropriation is such PC bullshit

  23. @unknown you dont understand the victim pyramid of intersectionality .

Black man > than white woman

If Miley had made comments about misogynistic white male culture, she would be declared brave.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Krissie There is no such thing as black culture either

There is African-American culture, Haitian culture, Ugandan culture, etc. but to imply that each white nation has its own unique culture, but all blacks share just one is not very considerate to black people.

  25. Because she is a mixed up mess of polar dichotomies and cannot see past her own conditioning to realize long enough that she can never separate herself from the very same things she does in her music, rampant misogyny, sex abuse scenarios and pedophilic imagery. She's a pot calling the kettle black.

Her demons will strike her down accordingly for such an inconsiderate comment to their god lucifer.

  26. @Gen-z99, you’re a fucking moron.
