Blind Item #1
Of course this permanent A list mostly movie actor sticks up for someone accused of sexual assault. It isn't the first time. I mean just look at the family member or even the mirror.

Sean Penn?
ReplyDeleteOr Michael Douglas/Kirk
DeleteLots of people accused of sexual assault are falsely accused. Especially in Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteNot everyone is an apex predator like Aziz Ansari.
It's Ben Affleck. His sobriety coach has been accused.
ReplyDeleteWhat qualifications does a sober coach need? I can see Ben causing the sober coach to relapse.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of sexual assaults, I was listening to this podcast, Hollywood Crime Scene, and thios week, the hosts interviewed Tom O'Neill, who has a new book out on the Manson case (and some of the things he had to say ARE new AND pretty startling, especially as they pertain to Bugliosi's conduct).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, he was talking about how he'd interviewed Bugliosi prior to one of Bugliosi's book releases, and asked Bug to tell him something new that nobody had heard about the case.
Bugliosi said that he had been told by one of the police officers that had been on the Tate crime scene that they found a videotape that when played, showed Roman Polanski forcing Sharon to have sex with other men when it was clear she did not want to. The cops were instructed to put the tape back and not bring it up. It was something Bugliosi hadn't previously addressed.
At this point that story might have come out in certain dribs and drabs, but that was the first time I had heard confirmation behind the allegations re: Polanski/Tate.
His book is called "Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties" and it just came out, June 25th.
That's old news. They found hundreds of tapes basically was famous people paying to sleep with celebs and have a trophy. Perhaps just blackmail. But Manson hinted many times it was more than a drug deal gone sour. Maybe he was protective of his family we do know Roman was a rapist.
DeleteScramblehead Clem Grogan from the Manson family is a lucky sob. From death penalty to parole. I've see him playing guitar in bands around SF. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteBruce Davis is getting released. Enjoy, Californians!
ReplyDeleteMartin Sheen / Charlie
ReplyDeleteBen Affleck/Noah Levine
ReplyDelete+1 Dena In the news him supporting a self help guru accused of misconduct
ReplyDeleteSo they popped a video tape in, what, a VCR? In 1969? Cool story tho, bro
ReplyDeleteA projector, probably.
DeleteBob Crane, anyone? Or the VCK-2000 for the low price of $350. Used at stag parties. Google is your friend. Then the Kodak Instamatic M70 for play back. Used at stag parties..
DeleteYou got me interested in brushing um on the history of video taping, Miss Teak. I thought U-matic, but the timeline isn’t right, off by at least 2 years. Then I found an description of an RCA recorder that was for consumers starting in the 60s. Polanski having access to one wouldn’t be surprising. Consumer grade Video Tape Recorders have a Decades longer history than I thought.
