Blind Item #12

This former A+ list singer has a passport issued by a Middle Eastern country. Will he try and use it? He wants to use it this weekend to Canada and then beyond.

  1. He's my first guess.

  2. Why not Mexico? Which would be easier to cross into?

  3. @yep-not sure on the Extradition laws, but probably thinks he can hide there?

  4. Canada won't let you in for a drunk driving record. Canada's border services see the same info as the US. So if you've been interviewed by the police in the states, not even arrested, or charged, they will see it, and can simply deny you entry. And if you're wanted for arrest in the US, they'll arrest you. It might take years to extradite you though.

  5. Of course he's scuttling off to a place that shares his values and tastes.

  6. Why would Canada let someone in with a Middle East passport if they couldn't go to the US? I could see Mexico because of the very low age of consent. (If R Kelly or,someone with similar charges.

  7. Extradition laws will limit where he can go and Canada and Mexico are off the list. He can fly to Canada, but he can't stay

  9. Seriously doubt he will have trouble passing through Canada.

  10. I hope he does try to leave. That could be the crime that sends him to prison.

  14. If the passport is in a Muslim name such as Muhammad Ali rather than Cassius Clay, he slightly changes his appearance and so on he may be able to just leave unnoticed.
I would if I were him and looking at a more likely than not couple of decades in prison.

  15. Canada humbly rejects Rkelly, maybe China will take him?

  17. Well he did just try to get the judge to let him go to Dubai a couple months ago, so that makes sense if it is him. Unfortunately for him, Dubai didn't want him lol. R. Kelly said he had performances lined up and Dubai actually issued a statement saying he had NOTHING scheduled in their city. 😂

  18. Middle Eastern passports are the easiest way to travel now. No one wants to be accused of being "racist" so muslims don't get questioned. Also, Canada is in bed with SA, no?
