Blind Item #9 - Met Gala

I'm not sure where the long time boyfriend of the foreign born closeted former A+ list boy bander was last night. That being said, our boy bander was having lots of fun with lots of different guys.

    Good for Harry!!! A relative of mine had met him on numerous occasions and said he's a really nice and down to earth guy. Especially with his young fans. So I don't see anything wrong with whomever he likes.

    Wow....(notice a pattern? Everytime he's seen in public, up pops a blind about him) 10 blinds ago he was supposedly single, he allegedly hooked up with someone on his tour, hooked up with someone from a bar, hooks up with guys on Grindr - but he has a boyfriend? So we're back to the Harry is a cheating slut narrative? I'm in NYC right now and when I see him (outing myself now - yes I know him) I have half a mind to tell him what's being said. He won't care, I know that for sure, but he's too nice of a guy to have this shit spewed about him. Boyfriend/ girlfriend/ single and having fun whatever! <<yes, I meant all of that! He tries to be unproblematic, but some people just won't let up.

    @ Mia Irish - unfortunately he's clickbait gold. It's sad, but he is so loved that press/bloggers/general asses on the internet will post anything because they know his fans will click to see what it is. Good for him for not caring about this crap - I hope he never cares about it and lives his life to make himself happy.

    I dont even think the blind gives a hoot about his preferences, other than if a mate (of either gender) to whom he claims to be committed is sitting at home. Then you wonder, fight? Over? Cheating? Who knows? Commenters were only speculating Harry. I think Harry has a lot of good will as a talented, likeable guy, and this is just what was seen. In the grand scheme of blinds, esp from a big party night, this is fairly benign, imo. I'm sure he appreciates having friends who leap to his defense.

    His outfit was hardly in the closet, nor were his poses with his very campily-dressed companion. I strenuously disagree with this shaming people for possibly being "in the closet" mindset. Not that it was ever cool, but in this day and age, so tf what if he's gay? It's ugly. He doesn't owe anyone a world-wide press release updates on his sex life. Anyway, performers whose jobs entail creating fantasy and illusion for their audiences especially need not be exposed. Actors have a harder time getting hetero romantic lead roles when their personal lives are broadcast in the press. What is the purpose? It's not 1985 with no gay public role models in sight anymore.
