Blind Item #7

Unable to get her to sing or dance, the people of this permanent A list "singer" made a recent post seem current and hopeful.

  1. I saw that video and that is not recent by any means.

  2. She looked good when out with her boyfriend, though. But a grown-up that isn't allowed her own IPhone? They can't even let her ha e off sometime? Either she is way worse than is let on or something is way out of line.

    1. Why did she keep hiding her mouth? I agree she looked good, but I thought that was really odd.

  3. They need to just let her retire. She must have enough money to be able to maintain a decent life. Poor thing.

    1. She probably does, but all the people she bankrolls don't. She's their golden goose and they're not going to let her go easily.

    2. I think its better that she has a lighter work load. If she retires, Brit will blow all her money on fast food and gain tons of weight. Better to keep somewhat busy and have a routine. Or teach dance or something.

  4. i think it's choice A---she's way worse, and there's been plenty written about it. also, i think it's safe to deduce that's the case in light of the judge's decision. he clearly thinks there's a real problem with her.

Poor Britney. TMZ was trying to make it look like she was back in rehearsals. I hope she retires. She's never had any kind of life outside show business and wild expectations she is not capable of delivering on. She deserves a normal happy life.

  10. Free Britney! This poor girl has been a work horse for her family far too long. So sad.

  11. Releasing that video now was just odd.

I listened to the podcast about Lutfi, and it was completely horrific. Her dad might be a bit over-protective and controlling, but when you hear details from her time under Sam's gaslighting care, you get a an idea as to why he is that way. I believe it is truly divine intervention that led to getting her away from him alive. Now i think it is time for the Conservatorship to continue, but hopefully without quite so many constraints.

Whether in Vegas or Louisiana, I 'd like to see her live a quiet life out of the spotlight, with her sons a part of her life. I think owning a gymnastics &/or dance studio might be a nice outlet for her, where she can visit/teach classes periodically, workout, decorate, visit, but not be too preoccupied with day to day, unless she wants to be. I think people would be happy to help and see her succeed at this sort of life.

  13. Tink, there is a short story by DH Lawrence called The Rocking Horse Winner that reminds me of Brit. Therein a child can predict winners at the track by riding his rocking horse. They ride him to death, basically.

  14. Paul remains ill through the day of the Derby. Informed by Cresswell, Bassett has placed Paul's bet on Malabar, at fourteen to one. When he is informed by Bassett that he now has 80,000 pounds, Paul says to his mother:
Pardon the tangent but the end of the story is so chilling.

    The RockingHorse Winner.

"I never told you, mother, that if I can ride my horse, and get there, then I'm absolutely sure – oh absolutely! Mother, did I ever tell you? I am lucky!"

"No, you never did," said his mother.
But the boy died in the night.

And even as he lay dead, his mother heard her brother's voice saying to her, "My God, Hester, you're eighty-odd thousand to the good, and a poor devil of a son to the bad. But, poor devil, poor devil, he's best gone out of a life where he rides his rocking-horse to find a winner."

Pretty cynical stuff. I love short stories.
